It's a relatively new product that softledger is continuing to build. There are small bugs like not being able to unlink a payment from the bank feed on the front end. But things like this are easily fixed by contacting support. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Softledger has been with us every step of the way. Ensuring they understood our business needs, handholding us through the onboarding, and always available for support. We use Softledger as our integrated General Ledger system for our fintech offering across Africa. We can schedule real-time entries from our core banking system and generate reports on the fly as we scale. We have been able to include our budgets, customize our chart of accounts, and run reports on a variety of dimensions that are important to our business. So far SL has been a perfect tool for me in working. Maybe there should be more languages versions so teams in other countries can also use it! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The most important things for me was quick implementation and service on the cloud. We were on the desktop version of QuickBooks, which ran way too slow and required installation on every user's computer. It was vital for all historical data to be in the system, because our organization had over a decade's worth of transactions. Implementation took about three weeks. Bank transaction mapping could use some improvements. The improvements are on the roadmap, and the current process works well enough. This review is so past overdue that I do not know where to start....

Here's my abridged version....

1. Customer Service is absolutely exemplary. Quick responses. Detailed tutorials. Custom workarounds. Seriously amazing.

2. Crypto Transactions module is a masterpiece. They have off-the-shelf coin reporting. Custom coin management. You can track cost-basis, coin movement, realized gain/loss, unrealized gain/loss and even itemized transaction journal entries.

3. Softledger handles changes, adjustments, cost-basis and gain/loss recalculations with ease.

4. They have FX exchange, Intercompany functions, parent/sub relationships.

5. Between the Journal Report and the Crypto Transactions I can find any information that I could possibly want.

Overall, as a company, we are extremely happy that we went with Softledger. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

1. There is currently no payment batching which affects the bank recon. However, all the payments still appear so we can still reconcile with relative ease even without it and it is currently being developed as I type this.

2. There accounts payable module does not support crypto payments but it is also in the pipeline to be available in the future.

It is easy to understand and generate all sorts of accounting reports.
