Soft Clipper is a desktop video editing tool for turning long recordings into short vertical clips for social media. Compatible with Windows and Mac, it processes videos locally, avoiding cloud uploads. Using AI, the software analyzes transcripts from podcasts, interviews, and streams to identify key moments, assign relevance scores, and suggest titles and hashtags. It converts horizontal 16:9 videos into vertical 9:16 formats with options like face-tracking, fit-and-blur, split-screen, and manual controls. Captions are auto-generated from transcripts, customizable via templates, and embedded permanently in the video. All editing tasks, including clip selection and export, occur on the device, requiring internet only for license activation and AI features. Users can create unlimited clips without watermarks, with processing speed dependent on their computer.
