The best part of Sococo is the fact that you can see what everyone is up to. Not in the overbearing micro-managing sense, but who is collaborating on what. Sococo gives you your own office island. Use it how you want. Set up personal office spaces for everyone. Create specific brainstorming rooms. Include a conference room for anything you want. Instead of requiring everyone join a Teams meeting that you may miss the notification on, set the location to the Conference Room. The new pricing model and data caps have caused Sococo to become expensive. You now get a limit on how much voice and video time used per person. If you go over that, you have to pay more. The desktop app seems to have bugs. Whenever there is an update, the desktop app seems to get buggy, but the website version tends to operate more smoothly. The most common issues are you mic not responding. Typically, refreshing the app or website works its magic, but there are times when it doesn't. Typically immediately after a software update. I dislike the Slack integration because (on Mac OS) new messages on Slack cause the Sococo icon to bounce up and down annoyingly even though I have notifications turned off. I really don't get any value out of the Slack integration because I can just open and use Slack directly. Slack's chat interface is better than Sococo's. Avatars system is a cool feature. Thanks to the Sococo program, our company can remotely distribute tasks between employees. It is also easy to contact an employee wherever he is.
