Just implement your pipeline, then create a task and you are good to go. Oh very nice guy, that Frank from customer support, easy to talk to and he ensures that he guides you to what you want to do. **What do you dislike about SnapLogic Intelligent Integration Platform (IIP)?** Mhmm, I do not like the secret manager of the accounts. When you connect Snaplogic with GitHub, it just exposes everything in a JSON format, passwords, emails etc. This messes up the CI/CD flows. Some snaps, like the HTTP Client, does not have some features you would have if you are using JavaScript fetch. With the Remote Python script, why do I have to run it in a separate container that exists outside Snaplogic... **What problems is SnapLogic Intelligent Integration Platform (IIP) solving and how is that benefiting you?** Hey, when I came in the company they were already using it but let me try to answer based on my experience. The problem it is solving is to centralise all the partner API's we have. Have everything in one flow instead of many instances. We could use step functions and lambda but Snaplogic simplifies all of that painful (depends who does it though) setup process, and AWS costs, yeah we all know them. ### 2. SnapLogic is easily able to run (in my experience) hundreds of pipelines a day without any troubles. **What do you dislike about SnapLogic Intelligent Integration Platform (IIP)?** SnapLogic has the feeling of using an older tool. Figuring out if a pipeline is scheduled to run and how a pipeline failed can be difficult. This tool is also pretty specialized, not many people have the knowledge of this tool without training, unlike something like Azure Data Factory. The formatting and user interface of pipelines can be very daunting and difficult to follow when complex, I find other tools easier to follow and understand. **What problems is SnapLogic Intelligent Integration Platform (IIP) solving and how is that benefiting you?** SnapLogic allows my team to run queries then manipulate that data until we get the information that we need. We can then post these files to SFTP sites or send emails with the files attached. This is all done in the background and saves a lot of time. ### 3. Customer service is good but they are still trying to get a footing in the data integration world. My number one caution.. Don't fall for the marketing and or false promises. They promote their platform as "no IT required" but buyer beware. They have a lot of "show" and have huge potential but providing a reliable and stable product should be their priority. **Recommendations to others considering SnapLogic Intelligent Integration Platform (IIP):** I highly recommend you put aside the sales pitch and leverage an initial trial period with this product. **What problems is SnapLogic Intelligent Integration Platform (IIP) solving and how is that benefiting you?** Tried to use it as an ETL tool when it is not designed for ETL.
