What do you like best about Snapchat?

Most common reason why I like Snapchat is its AR filters, it has a wide range of augumented reality features which makes clicking picture fun and creative. Snapchat is a great platform for privacy concerned people, as it has private messaging features which focus on one-on-one communication and also has features like it informs you if someone SS your pictures etc. we can explore a wide range of content, where we can follow celebrities of our choice or be an influencer.snap map provides track of what's happening nearby.

What do you dislike about Snapchat?

I’ve found Snapchat frustrating for a few reasons. The layout can be really tricky to figure out, especially when you’re new to it, and just when I get used to it, they roll out another update that changes everything. I also worry about privacy, especially with features like Snap Map that show my location to others—it just feels a bit too invasive. The ads drive me crazy, especially the ones I can’t skip, which totally interrupt the experience. On top of that, finding new friends or content isn’t as easy as it is on other apps. And I’ve noticed it drains my phone’s battery super quickly when I use filters or the camera. All these things make Snapchat less enjoyable for me.

i really don't like the customer support of snapchat. for an explane I mailed then 3 weeks ago about my problem but haven't received any response yet and now they have added the subscription thing which I really don't support. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Snapchat solving and how is that benefiting you?

Snapchat makes it super easy to share quick, genuine moments with my followers. I can capture something fun or interesting in my day and share it instantly. The fact that snaps and stories disappear after 24 hours encourages me to post more spontaneous and real content, which my followers seem to really appreciate because it feels authentic and in the moment.

Another big plus is how Snapchat keeps my community engaged. Since my content is only up for a limited time, it creates a bit of urgency for my followers to check in regularly, so they don’t miss anything. This has helped me build a loyal audience who stay connected with what I’m sharing.

The interactive features, like filters, stickers, and Bitmojis, make my content more fun and personal. These tools help keep my stories entertaining and visually interesting, which my community loves. Plus, being able to quickly chat with my followers through direct messages makes it easy to connect with them, making the whole experience more interactive and close-knit. Snapchat gives me a way to share my life in a way that feels real and engaging, and it’s helped me create a strong sense of community with the people who follow me.
