I don't like how it takes a while to understand how to use Snapchat because of the plethora of features. When I started using it this was a problem, however, I quickly learned and this is no longer a problem. One other feature that is good and bad is the fact that messages delete once you exit the chat if you don't save them; there's no way to save conversations without others knowing. Snapchat was the application I liked the most before, a simple concept; you take pictures and you can add filters, captions etc... and you can send them (with a delay of 1 to 10 seconds) to anyone you want or put them in your story. There are several very nice features like the mini map that allows you to see all your friends, full of fun filters and even the possibility to create our own filters, the bitmoji, this character who represents us on Snapchat that we create ourselves and that we can dress etc..... You can send 3 types of messages on Snapchat, videos, photos and messages (written or vocal). Audio calls and video conferences can also be made. This application is also addictive and allows us to keep in touch with someone thanks to Snapstreaks, it is a number placed next to the name of the friend with whom you have been talking for at least three consecutive days, it allows you to know how many consecutive days you send yourself Snaps. You can also access the stories of your friends and even influencers (Snapchat are the first users of the stories). You have free access to a very large number of nice animated stickers of your bitmoji. I can also note a good Snapchat support that is ready to help you no matter what the problem is. The reason I only update 7 stars is simply that Snapchat makes unnecessary updates, in other words, they kill each other slowly. We have a lot of bugs, for my part, I had a problem with a friend with whom I was automatically deleted and impossible to add and even with the help of Snapchat support my problem was not solved. The bug application on a lot of smartphones, for example on mine I can no longer open the video snaps and the video snaps I send take time to send (it's not a connection problem). I would like him to make an update where we can change our username (we could change it only once and when people look for us and enter our old username, our profile is displayed but with our new username). I definitely love the ease of use in this app. My favorite feature on Snapchat is the geofilters. You can promote events and your location (in my case the school) for marketing purposes. The updated version is not as easy to use as how it used to be. It quickly became unintuitive with the new layout. Instagram's interface seems to kind of be replacing Snapchat; because the Instagram layout is a lot more intuitive and is a social media platform that is offering more than just quick pictures; you can capture your life/business and it doesn't go away, which means people can come back for more information at a later time. Snapchat is a great way to document short bursts of an event through video or photo. Being able to send Snapchats as a message is also helpful as it moves faster than sending MMS messages. Snapchat is my favorite mobile app, especially because it allows you to keep in touch with friends using text messages as well as the images we use. Of course, you can also send text and video calls. I also like the punch feature. It makes me send at least once a day. I even use it to contact my staff. There is another feature called Geofilter. I can add photos to the app depending on where I am. I am one for the idea of sharing moments with your business partners or clients. Snapchat can be a good marketing tool. You can establish a group and send advertising messages. Next good thing is a possibility of making your snapchat account public, which can be usefull, when you are plugging your product. Snapchat is my favourite mobile app, because it allows me to stay in touch with my friends using mostly photos of what we are doing, not just texting. Of course you can text and make video calls as well. Also I love “Streaks” feature. It mobilises me to send at least one snap per day. I even use it to be in touch with my employees. The biggest downside of Snapchat is no support for Windows Phone. I still know some people who would like to use it but they cannot because of that.
