You can attract the consumer's attention very easily with few words. Also, the ability to easily share video makes it way better than Facebook. You can only do so much aka create a video, and put words and pictures. If you want bring in your own graphics and such it gets pretty complicated and time consuming. They pioneered "stories" and have some entertaining filters with some pretty advanced facial recognition features. **What do you dislike about Snapchat?** Their UI feels clunky and unintuitive. The initial appeal of using the app has worn off and one of their main value propositions, user stories, has been copied and expanded by Instagram/Facebook. You also get TWO notifications when the app is open on your phone for when someone is typing a reply and when you get the message. The use of video and photos on the spot along with fun filters and location tags allows a level of connection that other apps lack. The on the go aspect of snapchat allows it to feel less curated and more authentic which customers and those who newly encounter a brand enjoy. **What do you dislike about Snapchat?** The most recent updates on the app have made it difficult to locate all the features of the app and it also potentially hides your stories from possible clients and customers. We have a geofilter, and take photos with each other and of the library. Sometimes typos happen and after you post the story, you can't go back and edit it unless you delete the photo and re-upload it; and sometimes I don't save the picture, so I can't delete the picture and upload it with a new caption. **What problems is Snapchat solving and how is that benefiting you?** In the Digital Media Suite, we can use Snapchat to find the name of a song by holding it down and letting the app "listen" to the song that's playing. The other thing I like about the app is the ability to text and send cash inside the app. I also like how I can rely on this app when signal is low and I need to send a quick text. **What do you dislike about Snapchat?** The stories section is filled with spam that does not do a good job of giving me relevant info.The other thing is sometimes the layout changes too often, as soon as I get used to a UI the UI changes.
