Raise?** I like how easy it is to set up Snap! and the fact that there are QR codes that make it technology-friendly. The Snap! store where fans can get gear for the players or purchase some themselves is also a great motivator. Players found it easy to use and returning players were thankful that their emails saved year after year, so they can use them again if they stay in the program. I also found the site easy to manage when checking in on players and their progress. **What do you dislike about Snap! Raise?** Snap! does take a small fee for using their platform. The percentage is small, but when you raise a sizable chunk of money, it does feel like it takes a good amount from your total. **What problems is Snap! Raise solving and how is that benefiting you?** Snap! is helping us raise money for gear that we would not be able to purchase otherwise. The district does not supply much for extra gear and it is nice to be able to get more gear for players and make them feel like being part of the program. ### 2. Raise?** I wish there was a way to link players' social media to their profiles and have it blast out posts for them. That would be very helpful. **What problems is Snap! But they would not be able to provide the services and customer care to the extent of Snap! Raise. Even though Snap! Raise charges 20%, Snap Raise helped my organization fundraise double what it could do with anyone else. 20% is worhth it, and then some. **What problems is Snap! Raise?** I like that it is easy and there is no product to move. It's nice that we don't have to hound families to buy stuff they don't want. It's nice they can communicate with people across the world and the students steps are fairly easy. **What do you dislike about Snap! Raise?** The representative in our Houston/Conroe area was not great. No energy, didn't tell what the goal was or why we were even there. Not much personality for the kids to be interested in joining. Not much incentives. Didn't really go into the email side of things. In general, we had to fill in missing information from her presentation. So it was not as effective as the previous year. **What problems is Snap! Raise solving and how is that benefiting you?** We have to pay for musicals and have no money to start it up. We still didn't cover as much as we had hoped. ### 5. Raise?** Snap!Raise was simple to set up and easy to explain to team members. The customer service was prompt and helpful. **What do you dislike about Snap! Raise?** The hardest part about this method of fundraising is convincing people to put the emails of their friends and family into the Snap!Raise system for fear that they are unleashing a torrent of unwanted junk mail. I was assured that once someone donated, they would not receive further emails. This was not true. Another issue: once emails are in the system, the user cannot delete them. Example: I put the email for my brother and sister-in-law into the system. My brother donated thru Social Share (on Facebook) and I didn't want them to receive further emails. I had no way to delete their emails so they would not be annoyed. Simply adding a delete button would solve this. **What problems is Snap! Raise solving and how is that benefiting you?** They are helping me to raise money to enhance the infrastructure of my club. We are dealing with deferred maintenance and build ing for the future. ### 6. Raise?** I think it works well at getting funds for our school volleyball programs and requires low effort from myself and other school staff. We raise more from this platform than through most of our other endeavors with a fraction of the input work. **What do you dislike about Snap! Raise?** We still have a hard time getting as much participation as we'd like from students and their families. They cite the overhead charge, privacy issues of providing friends and family contact information, and they say that would rather just ask their supporters to just donate to our org directly. The incentive rewards for participation aren't enticing enough for them and we could use help figuring out how to presuade our members to participate. **What problems is Snap! Raise solving and how is that benefiting you?** We are able to raise large amounts of money when we need it. It also doesn't require as much effort as organizing an event, so it frees up my time to do more coaching and not get burnt out from administrative organizing. They also set up a contract with the school to reduce overhead charges slightly, which helps make the platform more palatable. ### 7. Working in a school, a lot of our teachers receive multiple emails for Snap Raise fundraisers from athletes and it can become costly if they want to support each athlete they receive an email from if they have to send a minimum amount. **What problems is Snap! It can be challenging to meet everyone's needs and respect their cultural norms. Raise?** It can be a challenge to get kids to upload 20 emails. **What problems is Snap! Raise solving and how is that benefiting you?** They made it easy for people to donate to our program. With out numbers, we were able to raise a good amount in a short timeframe. We can now worry less about money. ### 37.
