I love Snagit for quickly capturing on screen content to share information with colleagues. I appreciate how it allows me to easily gather captures to create step-by-step illustrated directions, provide mark-ups for feedback, and create quick screen recordings. I particularly like the setup of hotkeys that enable me to open the application and begin a screen capture or recording with a single key press, keeping my workflow as efficient as possible. I find the Snagit interface pretty incredible. It allows me to take video screenshots of a presentation that I'm watching and save it for later editing. I also really appreciate the ability to preview in the Snagit editor automatically. Previously, you could download a version of Snagit and use it for as long as you wanted. Now, the cloud-based version requires a subscription. There isn’t much to dislike about Snagit for my kind of work. Overall, it fits well into my daily routine.
