Snagit is incredibly helpful in terms of capturing all of the documentation that I need for helpful how-tos and has a plethora of features as well as ease of use. The shift to an annual subscription model is one thing that I absolutely hate. It seems to be a general trend. I wish they'd come up with a "Basic" version that has a one-time fee. It's super easy to use. It automatically uploads images/videos to screencast.com for easy sharing. You can export the files in a myriad of ways. There are tons of annotation and markup options. You can do multiple screenshots but at the same time there are lots of tools such as highlighting and shaping it before trying to send or attach it to email or just chat.
