Our several hundred users need to be able to reliably send 10000s of emails per month from our product. Prior to using SMTP2GO we had ongoing issues with both speed of delivery and reliability. SMTP2GO has given us easy to use tools to properly set up properly with DNS records etc so that now we have close to 100% reliability and has allowed us to offer a completely seamless email feature for our customers. All of a sudden sometimes quite large no of bounce back is experienced, and alerting sometimes fails to show up any notification.

Using SMTP2GO is very easy. We literally just needed to add in the required SMTP details and its ready to go.
For the ease of setup, to actually sending out emails, its value is very attractive for us.
Once we send out emails, it provides real time data on what we sent out and success information, allowing us to debug any issues quickly.

There are several features missing that I think other mail providers (mailchimp, mandrill) provides.
- Email preview is missing in your product. There isn't a way for me to see what was actually sent to the customer (mandrill has this covered)

SMTP2GO is everything you could possibly want from an email provider. The SMTP2GO service is fast and easy to setup. Over the years I have been with SMTP2GO, I cannot recall a single technical issue, downtime or deliverability problem.
The user interface is simple and straightforward. It is not over complicated. There are no excessive menus or fancy effects. It is clean, functional and intuitive.
The pricing structure is simple and fair. There is a free service for new users, with no strings attached, and a premium service for higher volume users like myself. SMTP2GO charge you simply on the number of emails you send. They don't try to catch you out with silly rules like per domain charges, or per contact list, or anything like that. It's straight forward billing.
The customer service is fantastic. Honestly one of the best customer service experiences from all of the providers I work with. Over the years we have experienced a few issues with our website. SMTP2GO got in touch with us to warn us of the unusual activity. Rather than suspending our account SMTP2GO quickly helped us resolve the problem. They have been very patient when we have been too busy to respond fast, and they have responded almost instantly when we have needed their help. When our phone calls have disconnected, they have called me back instantly. This company clearly puts customer service front and centre.
I can say with all honesty, SMTP2GO is one of the finest businesses we work with. We work with 3 different email partners for various different solutions (notifications, marketing, etc). If SMTP2GO offered more services, I'd switch over in a heartbeat.

I can honestly say there is nothing I dislike about SMTP2GO. The interface is plain and simple. Some people will look for things to improve, just for the sake of it. Some people see simple as "bare" or lacking in features. I see simple as the most effective way for a professional to get their work done without dither, delay or hassle. The dashboard is really well set out, its easy to read and navigate. The service is very flexible and will fit just about any requirement. I have no real dislikes with the service, the only time I have had a problem is during an outage but these are few and far between and notifications and updates are sent out very quickly.

The service was simple to set up and has not required ammending since implimentation.
A key requirements:
A simple SMTP relay service that is readily avalible and will not experience downtime of longer than 24hours.
Automatically send invoices to a specific email address.
For me the requirement was simple and SMTP2go forfills both perfectly.
We are coming up to running now for 2+ years and have not experienced significant downtime at all.
A feature i love is the alerts/billing alerts when emails are approaching the limit/half way through ETC.

Features that I have massivly disliked have been ammended and improved. For example the menus have been updated slightly and you can now collapse some menus.
We are using SMTP to go as a simple relay service for a non-criticle email application. There is not much there that we can dislike :)

We migrated from an on premise email server to SMTP2GO a couple of years ago now. We write town and parish council software and wanted a cloud service that allowed our users to email out documents and files from our Software as a Service solution. At the moment we are struggling to find to many issues with the service. One think that was a little frustrating was the changing of the records that needed to be adding. We deal with various IT Departments, that are not always willing or helpful. Once we'd got them to update the domain records once, which in some instances takes a while, to get them to go through the 2nd lot of changes for the same service has proved difficult for some.
