Honestly, nothing major. SMS Magic delivers what it promises, However, more integrations would be sweet. Direct AI  integration would streamline things further.

We like SMS-Magic for it's easy to use interface. It also integrates well with our CRM to simply our workflow. We can set up automated campaing based on predefined keywords and condtions.

**What do you dislike about SMS-Magic?**

Getting trial versions of the SMS Magic account takes time. Ususally have to contact customer support and wait for their response to complete the set up.

It offered SMS to us which we did not have and had software development available to make customizations.

The customizations we asked for never worked well after a year of testing and work by SMS magic. They wanted us to cancel with over e30 days notice.

Great tool. very affordable and their api provides the flexibility we need. Their customer support is great.

Some things had to be done from Admin console which i thought could be done better.

Unable to automatically match country codes with recipeints and needing to trigger international texts manually. When texts fail, support is slow to investigate causing decision making delays on how to best handle.

SMS Magic was able to integrate very well with our custom Salesforce instance. We were able to connect the SMS Magic conversation widget to a custom object.

SMS Magic's support is also very responsive and helpful.

**What do you dislike about SMS-Magic?**

I don't have anything really negative to say about SMS Magic. At one point we tried to report off of messages sent/responded to, and we ended up giving up because SMS Magic had very limited reporting capabilities. That was a couple of years ago, so that may have changed.

One other potential downside is that setup can be tricky if you want automation-based texting.

**What problems is SMS-Magic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SMS Magic allows us to send out texts to leads and contacts. As such, it helps us with lead engagement and retainment as well as our in-process communication with our clients.

There was vcery little positive about our partnership

Their communication is lacking, the solution to issues have taken over 6 months and our firm has lost clients due to this error, they charged my renewal fee even though I did not sign a renewal. I did not receive help or instruction on the new federal regulations that were put in place in December 2023 and come to find out we are not compliant.

**What do you like best about SMS-Magic?**

I'm afraid the only thing they have going for them is their sales team will tell you they will fix it - but then the same issue will come back again and again.

**What do you dislike about SMS-Magic?**

We run a stack of integrations with many providers. Only SMS Magic has proven to be incompetent, dishonest, unreliable and unable to deliver core services. Be extremely skeptical of any positive review on here or elsewhere.

I have been with SMS Magic for about 12 months and in this time I have found that:
1. The sales team are dishonest and will promise things the tech team can not deliver
2. Their tech team are unable to resolve simple issues like link shortening or licenses (we still do not have it resolved after almost a year)
2. About once in every 2 months the system will go down - that will mean a day or two of SMS services lost
3. We have billing issues despite paying every month on time
4. They are typically unavailable during AU hours

I run teams in India and the are exceptional - this company however is the epitome of second rate quality.

**What problems is SMS-Magic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

If it worked properly, it would give us the ability to communicate with our customers automatically and seamlessly. However, even one day of downtime has enormous consequences for our business and reputation. In 12 months, I've had the issue more than six times among many other problems.

The most important part of SMS-Magic for my business is its integration with Salesforce. However, unlike many products, it works well through its mobile application independently from a browser.

**What do you dislike about SMS-Magic?**

SMS-Magic is great. On the Salesforce side, I wish it more intelligently directed messages when a matter has been converted from an intake. Sometimes a contact's messages still go to their old intake.

Multiple SMS sources like messenger and WhatsApp included
Templates can be created for responding to clients

24-hour reply window remains permanently from the initial message and can interrupt re-engagement with clients 
Spam messages can be sent blank, creating a huge amount of messages with nothing to reply to

It allows us to receive messages from a range of sources and allows is to be able to respond promptly to customer queries. It has increased our conversion in some areas.

Their after sales took care of us every step of the way - from simple inquiries to actual real-time configuration assistance.

There were some confusion about timezones which was not included in their KB.  They refunded us all of the credits we used up because of that issue.

Our account managers are able to communicate with our clients more efficiently if they aren't able to reach them via phone call.  SMS history handover is easy.

This is capable of integration with a lot of apps so it makes our jobs easier with integrating it with the different apps that we use. The setup of said integrations is easy to do and takes little effort.

It is hard to connect with a customer service representative when needed over a phone call. Nonetheless, they are able to be reached through email and replies in a timely manner.

Customer service at times has not been great with SMS Magic. Our current rep Aishwarya does a great job, but reps in the past have not had a sense of urgency in understanding the problems that we've had.

SMS Magic allows our users to text customers/prospects and to store all of the data in Salesforce. Storing the data in salesforce and being compliant are super important to us.
