Smith.ai is fantastic. I run a solo law firm, and they allow me to seem like a serious professional rather than being the guy who answers his own phones (no offense to those of you that do!). They're affordable for small operators like myself, they take instruction very well, and they actually put in the legwork of finding holes in your intake script to make sure they know how to respond in a given circumstance. One of the things I really like is they also don't take down copious details to try to follow some word-for-word script (though they might do this if you asked, I don't know); they're real humans and talk to your clients. I even had a referral contact I was working with tell me "I had no idea they were not part of your office!" Smith is also awesome because it integrates with my law practice software, so every non-spam call gets recorded to the appropriate client matter. It's so, so, so cool.
