One thing I dislike about Smarty is that its standard plan functionality can be a bit limited for highly customized needs. I have been using Smarty or as it was previously called, Smarty Streets for over a decade. As a school operations manager, it has created so much efficiencies for our school operations. We have been using SmrtyStreet services for many years and it has been consistent and reliable. I cannot recall if there was any outages or service interruptions in the past therefore, it is reliable and simple to maintain. Unlike other companys providing API access for services we call from our applications, we do not have to worry about much about maintenance or updates. We like that there are not many uncessary updates from SmartyStreet if there is any, they gave us enough time and great communitation on what we need to adjust and what can be done to continue our calls to their APIs.
