"Great Address Lookup Service!"
5/5
What do you like best about Smarty?

We integrated Smarty address lookup into our SaaS-based CONNECT product, which aids oncology nurse navigators to care for patients through cancer treatment and into survivorship. It is fully integrated underneath the covers. Wherever our user is located, when they begin typing an address, Smarty provides a dropdown of addresses to choose from. When they click an address, it fills in the individual fields on our screen. The process is accurate, reliable, and fast! We highly recommend it! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Smarty?

No problems encountered. The integration was straightforward. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Andrew Townsend of Smarty

Thanks for the review! We're glad the integration is working for you.

"Gret tool, clear and easy to use web interface. API "just works""
4.5/5
What do you like best about Smarty?

Managing your account is a flawless and simple process. You are given all the options you need, but none that you don't; and the subscription options are very easy to understand. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Smarty?

With address validation, I think there is an opportunity to get customers understanding better then ins and outs and regulations around this. Simple address validation is very different from deliverable mail confirmation, and I think it isn't always clear to many customers who don't research this on their own. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Andrew Townsend of Smarty

Thanks for the review! We'll increase our efforts in educating folks about the ins and outs of addresses.

"Great for address validation!"
5/5
What do you like best about Smarty?

It was very easy and straight forward for our developers to implement Smarty into our web application. Their published documentation and customer service were helpful. We use Smarty on a near daily basis at our nonprofit organization to validate addresses. We appreciate Smarty's support of the nonprofit community. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Smarty?

We did not experience any negativity or downsides during the implemention and maintenance process. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A no-brainer for maintaining address data quality. Never go direct mail without it."
5/5
What do you like best about Smarty?

High quality results with comprehensive details. Easy to manually process a CSV batch. Fair pricing. Impressive results for non-US addresses. Incredibly fast processing. Used it during a CRM migration project and was able to ensure the quality of ~100k address records in literally minutes. I always pre-process any outbound direct mail list before handing it over to the mailing house. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Smarty?

The subscription model for pricing is a little awkward for my ad hoc periodic needs but still very fair pricing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Andrew Townsend of Smarty

Thanks for the review! We're glad you found our pricing fair and that we were able to fit your needs.

"Very Helpful - Time Saver"
5/5
What do you like best about Smarty?

Knowing when an address is not valid for postal delivery. Block users from entering invalid addresses into our system database. The quickness of the returned validation. I like the ease of the API implementation. Smarty Streets also seems to be updated regularly. I like the autocomplete. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Smarty?

Getting a return error when you use a # sign is used, or something is not quite right. It would be nice if a better error or validation kicked back. It would be nice to get a hint about what could be wrong with the address, especially when an instant fail is returned. Needing to click the + to see more units or suites. I wish I could tell the API the zip, city or state to help produce a more narrowed search on the autocomplete. Sometimes I can't find the address. However, support is always quick to help me. Response from Sawyer Hendrickson of Smarty

Thanks for the review, Jay! Also thank you for the feedback, we'll be sure to pass this along to our product development team.

"Been Using For Years - Easy and Constant Improvements"
5/5
What do you like best about Smarty?

The entire app experience is very user-friendly. Initially, we uploaded CSV files for verification and downloaded the results. That part was very seamless and easy to manage. For past few years we have used the API which is also very easy to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Smarty?

I know I'm supposed to come up with some things but really cannot think of dislikes. Even in the case where we've made mistakes and double verified a batch of addresses, twice I believe, we were given a credit each time by Customer Service without any fuss. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Andrew Townsend of Smarty

Thanks for your review! We're glad you're finding success with the API. For more information on our API: https://www.smarty.com/docs/cloud

"Easy to use- accurate results"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Smarty?

The automatic API to Salesforce has been a super helpful win. We also have made excellent use of the one-off, syncing a whole list of addresses with the web-based tool. Being able to scrub a list of addresses before a bulk mailing has been a major money saver. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Smarty?

Having to convert to a text doc for the web-based tool is inconvenient but not a deal breaker. I'd like more control over the Salesforce API when it does and doesn't check an address for accuracy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Andrew Townsend of Smarty

Thanks for your feedback! We'll pass your thoughts onto our development team.

"Fast, reliable and prevents a lot of fake customers and wasted driving."
5/5
What do you like best about Smarty?

It lets me validate that customer-supplied addresses are actual physical locations that a technician can drive to.

This lets us avoid wasted service calls, left by customers with accidental typos, as well as competitors who had been filling my online schedule with non-existent addresses.

Before implementing Smarty, we would frequently end up looking for the "800 block" of a street that ends at the "700 block" or in the middle of a closed industrial park with no houses.

I really like that Smarty lists addresses that a mailman can walk up to. If the mailman can get there, we can too.

Initialy we were using the Google Maps API, until I discovered that it was perfectly happy to interpolate or guess addresses that weren't actually there. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Smarty?

I haven't had any problems at all and support has been wonderful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Andrew Townsend of Smarty

We're so glad that you're saving time and money! Thanks for the review.

"I have been using Smarty for seven years and it never fails me."
5/5
What do you like best about Smarty?

On my sites, the most important things are speed and accuracy. We are using Smarty during the registration process for an athletic organization signup. We require accurate addresses because we must send the members hard assets as part of their membership. Smarty always provides proper addressing for the user to choose from. And it is geolocated, so their address is first and quick. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Smarty?

Sometimes in the budget meetings, the cost is high.

I wish Smarty would have an over-usage penalty instead of a hard limit. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Andrew Townsend of Smarty

Thank you for your review! We're glad you're enjoying our quality address validation.
