I'm a novice programmer but I had little difficulty integrating their API into my website. We used SmartyStreets to verify addresses on a customer-facing order entry page. We also were able to use postal carrier route information returned by the API to assist in routing pickups from customers. **What do you dislike about Smarty?** Not a dislike, but one thing that would be useful and I've not found anywhere is an API that would give me the order of addresses served in a postal carrier route. That data could be used to create a simple routing plan. **What problems is Smarty solving and how is that benefiting you?** 1. Verifying addresses on a customer order entry page. Getting the address right up front saves a lot of time either manually correcting an address, or reaching out to a customer for the correction. 2. Getting the postal carrier route and zip+4. It's true that there are other similar services but, again, the customer service, care, and knowledge of staff sets Smarty Streets apart. If I had a single complaint it would be that the jquery API was discontinued.
