SMARTY is a voice-first AI copilot for Altair HyperMesh. Engineers speak what they want in plain language, and SMARTY helps translate that spoken intent into executable HyperMesh actions, instead of relying only on complex menus, repetitive clicks, and manually written scripts. How it works: -The engineer identifies a task in HyperMesh and describes the desired outcome in natural language, using engineering terms they already use, for example "create a midsurface for the bracket and check free edges" -SMARTY interprets the intent and maps it to appropriate HyperMesh functions or automation steps -Execution happens in the engineer's existing environment, drawing on HyperMesh's Python APIs, scripting interfaces, and supported automation mechanisms -The engineer reviews and validates every output before it stands What it automates: -Geometry cleanup -Standard part naming and classification -Material and property mapping -Mesh-quality checking and exception reporting -Solver setup -Repetitive model-preparation work that consumes senior-engineer hours Workflows that scale: -Saved workflows can be re-run when inputs change -Approved procedures become reusable workflows instead of tribal knowledge -Teams standardize processes across engineers without everyone becoming a scripting expert Engineers stay in control: -SMARTY assists qualified engineers, it is not an autonomous engineering authority -Engineers remain responsible for reviewing model changes, mesh quality, boundary conditions, solver settings, and results Privacy by architecture: -SMARTY runs open-source models rather than large frontier models -The architecture is designed to keep customer workflows and model data private Availability and pricing: Commercial terms are confirmed directly with the SMARTY team based on your HyperMesh environment, team size, and target workflow, no public price sheet at this stage Engagements begin with one narrow, validated pilot workflow tested against a documented manual baseline
