**What do you like best about Smartwebs?**

What I like best about Smartweb is how it keeps everything centralized and organized. As an administrator managing a busy community, having homeowner information, violations, work orders, communications, and reports all in one system makes a huge difference. It saves time, reduces errors, and allows us to respond quickly and professionally to residents and board members.

I especially appreciate how easy it is to track history on accounts — being able to see past notes, letters, and actions ensures consistency and accountability in our management process.

**What do you dislike about Smartwebs?**

One challenge with Smartweb is that some functions are not as intuitive as they could be. Certain tasks require multiple steps, and new users may need additional training to navigate the system efficiently. There are also times when generating specific reports or locating certain information takes more clicks than expected.

Additionally, improving customization options and streamlining workflows (such as batch processing or closing multiple entries at once) would make the system even more efficient for high-volume community management environments.

Overall, while the system is very functional, enhancing user-friendliness and workflow efficiency would make it even stronger.

Instead of tracking homeowner data, violations, work orders, and communication history in separate places, everything is centralized in one platform. That organization eliminates confusion, reduces errors, and improves response time.

It also creates accountability. Being able to see the full history of an account — including notes, letters, and actions taken — ensures consistency when dealing with homeowners and board members. This is especially important in community management where documentation matters.

For me personally, it saves time, keeps me organized, and allows me to manage a high volume of tasks more efficiently. It helps our team operate in a more structured and professional way while improving communication and follow-through within the community.

**What do you like best about Smartwebs?**

The violations module is superb. It makes it so easy to drive the community, note a violation, take a picture, submit it online and send the resident a letter and email. I have found the customer support and help desk to be quite responsive. I appreciate the time staff takes to listen to my issues and help me figure out a path forward.
The accounting module makes entering accounts payable and printing checks incredibly easy. You do not need to have an accounting background to do these tasks.

**What do you dislike about Smartwebs?**

The user experience is not homogenous across the system. The letter function and search function differs slightly in each module. The windows don't resize to fit the screen. There are many instances where the pop up calendar or menu is not visible because it shows outside the screen.

Our compliance process was incredibly time-consuming. Smartwebs has fixed this issue! Even my volunteer committee members are super impressed with this tool.

**What do you like best about Smartwebs?**

I like that with Smartwebs, you can edit the letters for violations and include time-stamped pictures of the referred violation. Being able to edit the letters allows me to specify exactly what residents are in violation of, and the time-stamped pictures make it more obvious to them, so they don't come back and say they didn't know what was being referred to. The initial setup of Smartwebs was also easy.

**What do you dislike about Smartwebs?**

I would like to have access to edit the overall letter templates of one community and not affect others. It is a little difficult to have to contact the administrators to help edit letters that we need specifically for our communities. Also, maybe when recreating letters, do not reset the edited wording we had already inserted previously.

**What problems is Smartwebs solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Smartwebs to improve communication with homeowners, especially for violations. I can edit letters for clarity and include time-stamped pictures, making issues obvious. This prevents misunderstandings and shows residents exactly what we're referring to.

**What do you like best about Smartwebs?**

I really like using Smartwebs for its Architectural Control and HOA rules enforcement features. The system makes keeping track of Architectural Applications, and rules violations very simple and easy. It also has eliminated the need for many of our HOA's Architectural Committees to hold regularly scheduled meetings, as the Committee Members now view the applications in real time on their phone or tablet through the Smartwebs app. This saves time for both the Committee Members, Management, and streamlines the rocess for owners submitting applications as well.

**What do you dislike about Smartwebs?**

I don't have any dislikes regarding the Architectural or Rules Enforcement features as none come to mind at the moment. As for the remaining features of Smartwebs, I am unable to comment as I do not use them.

Smartwebs solves the hassle of keeping track of HOA rules violations and Architectural Applications. It easily allows all of our Management Team and Board Members to easily see the progression of rules enforcement and keep track of architectural applications.

Ease of Use! The UI is very intuitive and a lot of the steps are automated. The app is VERY useful for inspections as the map is editable and has GPS to follow you and you go around the community.

You need to have the full suite for it to be useful to homeowners. Unless you have the accounting part, then homeowner's don't have a way to log-in and see their ARCs, Work Orders, and Violations.

It provides a single place for architectural changes and violations to live, and both are easy to see while I’m out in the community conducting compliance inspections.

**What do you like best about Smartwebs?**

Smartwebs has been a great tool for our team. It’s very intuitive, and the learning curve is surprisingly light, even for people who aren’t especially tech-savvy. One of the things I appreciate most is how smoothly the Architectural Review process flows. It cuts down on the usual back-and-forth, which is especially helpful when you’re working with a homeowner-run ARC. Everything stays organized, and it’s easy to see what’s pending, what needs attention, and what’s already been addressed.

Task assignments are straightforward, and notifications come through reliably, so nothing slips through the cracks. When it’s time to prepare for meetings or share updates with the Board of Directors, the reporting features make that part of the job much easier. The reports are clean, simple to generate, and genuinely useful for keeping everyone aligned.

Overall, Smartwebs has made our day-to-day operations feel far more manageable and efficient. It’s been a solid upgrade in how we handle our workflow.

**What do you dislike about Smartwebs?**

I’ve found the accounting side of the software to be the weakest part of the system. Tracking down and reviewing vendor invoices isn’t very intuitive, and it often takes more clicks than it should. Pulling homeowner statements was also more complicated than I expected, and the overall process didn’t feel very straightforward.

Document management could definitely be smoother, too. Uploading and organizing files is workable, but editing documents within the system felt inconsistent. That inconsistency made it harder to keep everything clean, organized, and up to date.

**What problems is Smartwebs solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Smartwebs helps streamline my daily operations by keeping ARC reviews, task assignments, and reporting organized and easy to manage. This cuts down on back-and-forth communication and saves a lot of time, especially when I’m working with homeowner-run committees. The workflows are clean, and the notifications are reliable, which makes it much easier to stay on top of what needs attention and to prepare solid reports for Board meetings. That said, the accounting tools and document management features still feel clunky and less intuitive. Even with those drawbacks, the efficiency and structure Smartwebs brings to my workflow have made a noticeable difference in how smoothly I can handle day-to-day responsibilities.

In the reporting section, it says that you can sort your report by address, stage, or violation, but then it does not work and puts all reports in the same standard order.

**What do you like best about Smartwebs?**

Smarts Webs functions overall are so easy to use! Its like google but for HOA violations. While in the field its like three clicks, snap a photo and send. So convienent! When in the office same option. You can pull any addresses using the search bar and click right what you need to view the violations for said property. Adding notes to individual violations and accounts makes things so much easier in the field as well. It prevents any extra errors on a homeowners account. For example, they have a landscaper add a note. You then do not have to write up a landscaping violation. The notes are for internal staff only. OVERALL, I would choose it everytime!

**What do you dislike about Smartwebs?**

The only downfall that I wish Smartwebs would consider is scanning and adding the govenring documents on your behalf. Otherwise each new community you get its a process to fill in all the governing document rules one by one.

No problems at this time. They are always updating their software to ensure we are working with the best functioning abilities.

**What do you like best about Smartwebs?**

I love working with SmartWebs.  It is easy to keep track of the status of violations and ARC Applications.  I like that the comments by all of the committee members is there for a permanent review.    When I first started using the program I  had about thirty communities using the violations and ten using the ARC applications programs.    Now I am down to two communities using the ARC Applications and I probably have 10-12 per month for each one.

**What do you dislike about Smartwebs?**

When our company transitioned to a new software program the ownership change did not sync with SmartWebs so we have to manually change the email addresses on the ARC Applications and then manually change the names on the letters that are sent out.

When I have an issue, I get an immediate response.

**What do you like best about Smartwebs?**

The Violation module of Smartwebs is easy to use and has a number of features. For Violations, being able to easily put a violation on hold, and customizing the individual homeowner emails is very user friendly.

**What do you dislike about Smartwebs?**

The ARC Module of Smartwebs where you upload the individuals project documents is cumbersome. To view the documents you have to download each one. You can't rename it once it's uploaded and you cannot organize the documents.

**What problems is Smartwebs solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our community uses Smartwebs for ARC and Violation management. It integrates with our accounting software so that the homeowner's information and contacts are updated every day. It integrates directly with Southdata and sends out the email notifications automatically.

**What do you like best about Smartwebs?**

Smartwebs has a completely integrated Accounting Package, Architecture Package, Violation Package, Communications Package and Work Order Maintenance Package and Resident Portal Package. The system allows almost everthing to be done in our communities from one website and one log in.

**What do you dislike about Smartwebs?**

The company is growing and with most new pieces of software there are some issues that center around fast paced development and hotfixes of issues. There is currently not much training material available for the accounting package and not many people within the company that know the software well enough to get quick phone support. It sometime takes up to a week to get most accounting issues resolved, but this is improving. There are several basic features that I would have thought would have been incorporated early on, but are still in developement. Once this is added I believe we will see some big improvements our time and efficiency.

Payments from residents, payment plans for residents, production of financials, ACC requests and archive of historical ACC info, ease of reference of violations

We have been using SmartWebs for 9 months and we actually enjoy doing compliance now.  It has made it so easy to be consistent in applying our rules to our 2,000 residents.  We are self-managed and we live in the neighborhood, so being consistent and fair is a very high priority for us.  
Their customer support has been very quick and informative, and the implementation was super easy.  I highly recommend SmartWebs!

I wish there was a way to send a resident a Nice Yard email.

We used to struggle with being consistent in our compliance.  We are now very consistent and fair.

**What do you like best about Smartwebs?**

SmartWebs products are the best in the industry. All modules seem to work much better than any of their competitors and their pricing is quite fair.  Customer service is also top notch, and you will typically hear back within a few hours even if they have to investigate something. All integration is seamless too and taken care of on their end, and their development team has always been good about rolling out new features when we needed them. The compliance offline application in particular is a lifesaver since every other product is difficult to use if you don't have proper cell signal.

**What do you dislike about Smartwebs?**

I don't really see any downsides in using Smartwebs.

**What problems is Smartwebs solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The biggest thing Smartwebs solved for us was being able to consistently do inspections in a timely manner. Their offline app allows you to download the data to use in the field and upload it when you are complete so you're not relying on cell phone service. To my knowledge no other competitor has this feature available. Their ARC module also saves us a ton of time and emails since Board Members can approve or deny online.

**What do you like best about Smartwebs?**

This software program has been extremely helpful in streamlining our processes in covenants enforcement and architectural processing.  We use the software exclusively for those two functions.  The software has a user friendly interface, that is easily navigated, and fairly intuitive for a beginning user.  Overtime, the company has taken the feedback of users and really formulated a system which has a robust offering.  The best features of the software include the customer support (the support staff is amazing at answering questions and giving support), report pulling in different formats is extremely helpful (especially if the data needs to be reformatted or manipulated in someway), and the ability to use/customize merge fields and blobs has been so helpful in crafting our violation and decision letters.

**What do you dislike about Smartwebs?**

The system is robust - which is what you'd want.  Training will be required to get the most out of the software and you may need to modify certain aspects of the software (or manipulate them) to better utilize certain aspects.  However, for an "off the shelf" platform, you sacrifce the ability to make certain customizations specific to your individual use.  However, the company is extremely receptive to feedback and regularly provides new versions/updates to address client feedback - which we are thankful for.

**What problems is Smartwebs solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Smartwebs provides us with the ability to track member data, process architectural review applications, and write/send enforcement letters for alleged violations of the association.  Because of Smartwebs, we have been able to reduce the amount of manual data entry or changes to letters, which reduce errors and inconsistencies.  We are looking forward to seeing an opportunity for wider integration capabilities with other service providers, so we can automatically update owner information, without manual data entry.

**What do you like best about Smartwebs?**

The #1 thing I like the most about Smartwebs is that its ability to email violations to owners directly. The support team is another great thing and the super ease of use!

**What do you dislike about Smartwebs?**

If I have multiple instance of Smartwebs login, I have to individually log in to each one and don't have the ability to switch profiles.

**What problems is Smartwebs solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I believe Smartwebs is currently looking for a development solution on integrating multiple enhancement request for not just me, but for the entire users. One would be were users get a pop-up notifying as soon as they log in stating that they have some pending item like violations in queue. Another would be to show a preview watermark for internal users to show that they're actually previewing a file and not the real one.

We use it on a daily basis and I like how easy it is to navigate and also about the many functions it has to help HOA management. ALso customer support is very knowledgable.

I dont like the fact that it has no dark version.

It combines everything you need for property managment into one easy to use platform. It is easy to be collabortive with the board of directors and committees. The customer service team is amazing! They are super nice and attentive!

It doesnt have any AI or lifestyle, but I heard they are working on it so i am excited to see the new things coming soon!

It makes my jobs so much easier. It is super user friendly; it is easy to use and all the software updates happen automatically. We used to have a billion platforms that we had to check daily, and now we only need the one!

**What do you like best about Smartwebs?**

We have used Smartwebs for many of our HOAs since 2012 I think that overall they have the best interface with regard to ARC and Violation App and Desktop versions. THeir Customer Support is great! We have many team members and i think all of them would agree that Smartwebs is the easiest software we use.

**What do you dislike about Smartwebs?**

I dont really have a downside i have not fully integrated and used their accounting software as it would be too much of a burden right now to change.

Currently they do not have any problems they are solving for me.

Some of global admin settings/design isn't the most time friendly. Wish there was an easier way to naviagate through properties/users. Also the Master/Sub situations become difficult to maintain in SW.

Getting rid of paper applications and uneeded back and forth between boards and residents. Allows for easy standardization of responses and wait times.

I like the map function, it is very helpful when doing covenants inspections.

Some of the reports don't load at all or take forever to load.

The team is very collaborative and open to suggestions/enhancements.  If I have an issue they are always willing to jump on a call to discuss. The tool itself is user friendly.

As with any software there are some restrictions.  Some bugs take too long to correct.

In my region we are using the Architectural platform and it has made it the process for submitting, reviewing, and making a decision on requests a smoother and more efficient experience.
