Existing paper waivers are converted into interactive, digital documents which can be signed online, or at your location on a computer, tablet or smartphone. Signed waivers are stored in a secure, searchable database, eliminating the need for paper and filing cabinets. ## Smartwaiver Reviews ### 1. Use this to get signed waivers from my clients **Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Lisa U. | Dog Trainer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.) **Reviewed Date:** April 29, 2021 **What do you like best about Smartwaiver?** I love that I can quickly email my waivers to my clients. I used to do paper waivers (old school, I know). I was a little nervous about how long it would take me to set up, but it was easy peasy. Their customer support will actually set up your waiver for you if you just email it to them in a word doc or PDF form. Honestly, their customer support is super helpful and will get back to you very quickly. Also, the price is very affordable, and for my small business, this works great. **What do you dislike about Smartwaiver?** I wish their mobile app was a bit better. For a while, I was teaching puppy class, and I wanted those who didn't read the email to be able to sign the waiver on my iPad Kiosk. The app looks super outdated and was challenging to use. It was slow to load. Luckily, I didn't teach that many classes and mainly do virtual/online dog training sessions now. **Recommendations to others considering Smartwaiver:** I would definitely recommend if you're trying to make the transition from paper waivers to virtual waivers. I wouldn't use them if you're looking for a mobile kiosk, as their app isn't super easy to use. **What problems is Smartwaiver solving and how is that benefiting you?** I was looking to stop using paper - plus it was getting to be annoying to have a stack of papers of waivers. You can't throw them out, but they just sit there and become disorganized. I love how smartwaiver makes it super simple and organized to store all your waivers. ### 2. Smartwaiver works for now **Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Verified User in Entertainment | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.) **Reviewed Date:** February 13, 2019 **What do you like best about Smartwaiver?** I like that we can see the check in history of our clients, and trends on when we are busiest. **What do you dislike about Smartwaiver?** I don't like that you cannot check people out to show how long they stayed, that would be useful. **Recommendations to others considering Smartwaiver:** I have not yet found a waiver company that allows you to import pre-existing waivers. Tags will not show up on check-in history and the data takes a but to export. Smartwaiver does not integrate with our online scheduling system. **What problems is Smartwaiver solving and how is that benefiting you?** Waivers for our patrons. ### 3. I really wanted to love this **Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Verified User in Health, Wellness and Fitness | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.) **Reviewed Date:** December 27, 2017 **What do you like best about Smartwaiver?** I love that I can set up a "kiosk" on a tablet for clients to fill out their waivers when they come in, as well as sending them links ahead of time to fill in on their own. My favorite thing is being able to download the "console" app on my phone, which gives me a notification as soon as a waiver is completed and I can pull it up right there to view it. **What do you dislike about Smartwaiver?** I have struggled SO much finding a tablet that can support it! Obviously I could buy and iPad, but I'm not trying to fork out that much for a tablet when the majority of my clients fill out their forms ahead of time. Since the app is also on the Google Play store, I assumed any Samsung or Android powered tablet would support the kiosk app. Unfortunately I have struck out twice on that and had to return two different tablets. **Recommendations to others considering Smartwaiver:** Creating your own waiver took a little more time to get the hang of than I was expecting, but it was easy enough after messing around with it for a bit. They also have the free option of sending a PDF of your existing waivers that they will turn into an online waiver for you, which is nice for anyone less tech-savvy or who just doesn't have the time. Just make sure that any tablets you get to use as a Kiosk support the app! **What problems is Smartwaiver solving and how is that benefiting you?** Having to print out physical waivers was both wasteful and a nuisance. I'm no longer using up expensive printer ink, having to make trips to get copies made, or feeling guilty using up so much paper. Storing them was also a huge hassle, and trying to pull up a previous client's info was a pain.
