What do you like best about SmartSlider?

Smart Slider 3 is a great WordPress plugin for a custom slide show with the capability of multiple layers of images and text per slide, and additionally with video capability. I have used Smart Slider 3 on a number of my sites for various purposes. It works great as a home page landing slider. It is also a great way to showcase products. Specifically, I have a wedding stationery specialist as a website client, and it allows me to showcase all her products by putting the image in 1 layer, the link to contact her in another layer, and also a layer giving photographic credit for her images. I have another website that I built for a fine artist where I use it to showcase different categories of the artist's works. This is honestly one of the most versatile plugins I have ever used. What do you dislike about SmartSlider?

The interface is a bit rigid in spots and has morphed over time so that formatting the layers is a bit more complicated. But it also allows you to adjust almost anything you want to for each individual layer, so it is worth the trade-off. At first, I found the interface to be a bit clunky, but I have used Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

If you need versatility from your slider, Smart Slider 3 is for you. There are any number of combinations of images, text, and other layer components that you can use to create content that your clients will benefit from. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is SmartSlider solving and how is that benefiting you?

It has really made doing websites for various clients with different business needs, but who need the ability to visually showcase their products or their teams, a breeze. I have used it in multiple sites for varying clients from non-profits, to artists, to wedding industry professionals, to event center owners, to a weight loss center, to a personal chef, to a media company, to sports reporters and more. In every instance, Smart Slider 3 plugin for WordPress has allowed me to visually showcase a crucial part of the particular business. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
