"Easy Team Collaboration and Always-Current, Data-Driven Dashboards"
4/5
What do you like best about Smartsheet?

It’s easy to collaborate with team members and keep track of project status. I also find it helpful to create visuals that pull from updated data, so they stay current and support truly living dashboards. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Smartsheet?

It could be more intuitive and more formula-friendly overall. I’d also appreciate additional video-based learning options so I can discover features I may not be using yet. If the sheet could recognize inefficiencies or flag areas that could be improved, that would be a meaningful upgrade. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Efficient and Accessible Organization with Smartsheet"
5/5
What do you like best about Smartsheet?

I use Smartsheet to organize data and maintain information control based on tree structures. It allows me to work in an organized manner and have all the information in the cloud. What I like the most is being able to work from any device in real time. I also enjoy the way it maintains different dynamic filters to organize the information. The initial setup was very simple and intuitive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Smartsheet?

Sometimes the platform takes time to load and the page must be refreshed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A Very Useful Excel-Like Tool for Easy External Sharing"
4/5
What do you like best about Smartsheet?

It is a very useful tool which has most functions from Excel and can share with other parties outside of our own organizations we work with. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Smartsheet?

Not all Excel functions are covered.

When I aim to make a display with Smartsheet, it is limited by the in-built functions of the Dashboard. With the limitation, I then have to work around the in-built functions rather than displaying the summarized result in the way I wish to do. It does not help with user experience or our presentation.

Format of the cells such as date, does not support customization, which is a big down. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy Navigation and Visual Workflows That Simplify Client and Task Tracking"
5/5
What do you like best about Smartsheet?

It's easy to access and navigate. Helpful to track clients and tasks. Instead of manually emailing team members for status updates, we can build visual, logic-driven workflows. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Smartsheet?

It's just Smartsheet lacks real-time autosave, forcing users to save manually. Closing a browser tab unexpectedly or editing the same cell as a teammate can easily result in lost progress or overwritten data. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Intuitive Management of Events and Projects with Smartsheet"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Smartsheet?

I like how intuitive Smartsheet is. It allows me to keep all the information organized and concentrated in a single document. I also value the feature to manage user permissions by specific sections or areas of the document, which is very useful to prevent anyone from modifying or damaging the content without authorization. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Smartsheet?

Perhaps it could be more visually appealing, or include a simpler functionality that allows you to zoom in or zoom out more easily and comfortably. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Comprehensive Tool with Room for Workflow Improvements"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Smartsheet?

I like that Smartsheet helps ensure deliverables don't fall through the cracks by linking multiple objects to a single task. It's pretty quick and easy to edit, update, and configure the system to meet my needs. Smartsheet serves as a unifying tool for managing many projects simultaneously. I find it valuable for linking with Box and using features like dynamic formatting based on status. It allows me to track many details and quickly delve into open documents to solve problems on the spot. Our team can manage everything through Smartsheet, making it an all-encompassing tool. The switch from Excel improved our collaboration tremendously, thanks to the online, remote collaboration ability. The setup was straightforward, and Smartsheet is as easy to use as Excel. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Smartsheet?

I feel like the workflow features in Smartsheet could be improved. It would be great if, when a task is done, we could get notifications for specific people, and as each person completes a task, the next person is automatically notified. It would also help if the task could be moved or copied to a different file or area, keeping everything organized and at the same stage. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Excel-Like Interface, Great Templates and Forms for Fast Setup"
4/5
What do you like best about Smartsheet?

Smartsheet has a familiar interface, somewhat similar to Excel, so it's easy to set up quick sheets, plans, logs. It also provides plenty of templates to get started with the more complex formats, such as Project Plans, which creates the required columns and dependency links. I also really like the Forms feature, where you can create a form to collect data, and send the link out to anyone, irrespective of whether they have a Smartsheet license or not. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Smartsheet?

It is frustrating that it takes quite a long time to load in the browser to sign back in. Also, the fact that everyone needs a license to be able to contribute to the content of a sheet. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Smartsheet Keeps Projects Organized and Teams Aligned"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Smartsheet?

What I like most about Smartsheet is how simple it makes it to keep projects organized and everyone on the same page. I really like being able to track tasks, updates, and deadlines all in one place instead of digging through emails or multiple spreadsheets. It’s also super helpful for team collaboration and makes project management feel a lot less overwhelming. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Smartsheet?

At first, Smartsheet can be pretty confusing to use because the platform isn’t always very intuitive for new users. Someone from my team actually had to walk me through how to use it in the beginning, but once you learn the basics it becomes much easier to manage projects and keep everything organized. "Smartsheet Makes Project Management Simple and Collaborative"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Smartsheet?

What I like most about Smartsheet is how it simplifies project and task management. The interface feels familiar, like a spreadsheet, so it’s easy to organize work, track progress, and collaborate with team members without a steep learning curve. I also appreciate that it keeps everything in one place, which improves visibility and saves time in day-to-day work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Smartsheet?

One thing I don’t like about Smartsheet is that some of the more advanced features can take a while to learn, especially when you’re setting up automations or more complex workflows. Also, managing multiple sheets and handling permissions can sometimes feel a bit confusing, particularly for new users who are still getting familiar with the platform. "Smartsheet Review 6.18.26 - project developer"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Smartsheet?

Customizability of different sheets and summary sheets, connectivity of different cells and rows, and tracking dates for projects in a pipeline are the main advantages to our team. Being able to upload documents and images to sheets for easy access is very helpful. Organizing sheets by overarching category is also very helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Smartsheet?

The more complex your smartsheets, the more difficult it is to keep track of all the moving parts. A cell may be linked through 5+ different sheets and tracking down the origin of the cell to modify it is sometimes annoying. Manual data entry can also be very tedious (are the data processing AI integrations that can be included?) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
