Smartsheet is highly, customizable, helping me manage projects and collaborate with internal stakeholders efficiently. It's a platform built on a familiar spread-sheet style grid (and now updated Table view), so it's really easy to pickup while adding on what traditional spreadsheets lack. Smartsheet's been a reliable backbone for coordinating work across teams. Our adoption and uptake rate increased after demonstrating a sevenfold return with our current annual investments in licenses. It connects with with Teams for alerts, but I have to admit performance has been a bit glitchy, however that may be due to how large our sheet is and maybe resolved with an archive system to remove rows that are no longer needed in our 'working' sheet. In particular, the time to respond to a support email, and to reach a resolution, can take weeks or even months. Also, the transition to the User Subscription Model (USM) license structure was an increase of cost to some of our units. It is getting difficult to justify paying more for less perceived value. Smartsheet is solving my challenge of managing complex projects and data in a university setting, particularly when dealing with numerous grants from government bodies and industry partners. We use Smartsheet as a centralized platform where we track all incoming "pre-pipeline" projects (projects at their earliest development), as well as those that have moved into the "pipeline" (projects that have submitted proposals and pending outcome) stage. This level of organization is essential in a research institute setting with over 300 researchers, as it allows for a comprehensive view of all projects at different stages. This early visibility helps our operations team allocate resources, and strategically fund the most promising projects, and boost your success rate in securing additional matched funding. Moreover, the platform's real-time updates and information sharing enhance collaboration and coordination. Smartsheet's automation capabilities also streamline processes and tasks. Smartsheet has a familiar UI for anyone who has used office products and is very easy to use for someone with basic computer skills. It is approachable, yet it has a lot of functionality and integrations that make it a powerful tool for project management, database management, and other functions that take a lot of work to get Sheets or Excel to match. The online training is excellent, and the ability to collaborate, attach, and communicate works very well. Our team has found that the browser-based version works very quickly and smoothly. After hearing and seeing months of 100+ emails between dealers & Install Team, II created an easy Intake Form for Dealers to Submit Answers and Pictures that would funnel into our Tracker and that only notified parties when Form was completed and then they could have all the information to know which Brand Wall to Schedule Correct Retrofitting Install. I like how customisable it is as you can make your own templates so the software becomes familiar. I like it's convenience of being able to access everyone in the company and it's ease of use. It is a very useful, very straightforward platform and I'm glad we're able to utilize it in my company. The UI interface is easy to understand and work with. The performance of smartsheet is extremely well, though we have had a time where it had some issues, it was very short-term, and we have had no issues since. Getting onboarded with the program was extremely easy, and there is significant assistance through the company to do so. Though I have not used the AI features for the work that I do, I know that it provides a significant advantage to other services due to this access. I am unsure how much the pricing is for the program company wide, but I believe it is certainly sufficient for the benefit that it provides us. The cost is absolutely worth the benefit. SmartSheet is the easiest and most comprehensive system for sharing documents across a large work group. Our organizational structure requires different schedules for different teams and locations ranging across the state of Texas. This means we won't always be together for meetings or face-to-face interactions. SmartSheet helps communication through a small team with different schedules and helps us stay organized. We use SmartSheet for our COGS/POS pricing, our event coordination, ordering/recieving, HR documents and onboarding/training materials. It is useful for a complete business program in a small business with limited home office capability. We don't have a home office with admin keeping track of many of these items for us, so as a small team we have to do it on our own, which would be much more difficult without SmartSheet.
