Coming from a marketing operation background where I work with tools like Hubspot, I appreciate platforms that make segmentation and automation easy to configure. It does a good job of simplifying campaigns creation while still giving enough control over targeting and personalization. **What do you dislike about SmartrMail?** One thing I found a bit limiting with it is that the customization and reporting options are not as advanced as some larger marketing automation platforms like hubspot. Deeper segmentation controls and more flexible reporting would be helpful. **What problems is SmartrMail solving and how is that benefiting you?** It helps simplify the process of running automated email campaigns and managing customer segmentation, which can otherwise become quite manual and time consuming. Instead of setting up multiple tools, the platform pulls in customer and purchase data and uses it to trigger automated emails such as welcome emails, abandoned cart reminders, post purchase follow ups. ### 2. By categorizing my audience according to their purchasing patterns, I have distinguished myself to come up with a targeted email who as led to increased opening of the emails. **What do you dislike about SmartrMail?** SmartrMail seem restrictive as compared to other platforms that I have used. For now, I benchmark subject lines and preheader text and not the full body of the email or its various formats. **What problems is SmartrMail solving and how is that benefiting you?** With the help of SmartrMail, I have been able to organise my work process of email marketing and promote customers’ interaction. It has everything you need for your business and the best part is that lots of stuff is already pre-made, all you have to do is modify the templates according to your own needs. I don't have a lot of technical knowledge but I am able to create useful and aesthetic emails to send out to our customers. Also the smartrmail technical support is really helpful, I had a slight issue changing the address in the standard footer of my emails. Technical support fixed it really quickly for me. **What do you dislike about SmartrMail?** Some of the design, like the header and footer, needed to be done by my technical support. Perhaps this could have been made a bit easier for people with less tech knowledge. Also there were a couple of formatting glitches last time I did a manual email, just with the size/position of some text. Not sure whether this was a glitch or user error. last thing is that I have found the fonts can appear differently on different devices. **Recommendations to others considering SmartrMail:** Great for any business starting out in email marketing. Relatively easy to get set up and produce high quality content for your customers. **What problems is SmartrMail solving and how is that benefiting you?** The automatic emails are great once set up. It's set and forget. I like knowing that every customer receives emails without me having to do any extra work. That way I can put my time into the manual emails, where I can also track how well the email did in relation to sales. It shows me exactly which products were sold as a result of the emails. I love it. ### 6.
