UI is really simple to understand and making events and funnels is pretty easy. Recordings part is also great and heatmaps are super easy to understand. I'm missing some features from Smartlook – I wish there was a way to see heatmaps and recordings separately for different A/B test versions. Basically, an integration with Google Optimize and an option to filter recordings/heatmaps would be great. Another thing that could benefit is continuous heatmaps – I'm pretty bad in starting heatmaps and would sometimes like to look something in the past, so therefore continuous heatmaps could become handy. For example we understood that on pricing page people were clicking a lot on one element but it wasn't clickable – that was an indication to us that users don't exactly understand what it means and would like to read more about it. Your input will be really helpful. As for continuous heatmaps, this can be addressed by creating heatmaps from historical data. Smartlook provides invaluable insights into how users use and navigate our mobile app. In our first few weeks using Smartlook we identified dozens of usability improvements. The funnels feature is super useful to understand how our paying customers interacted with the app, which paths and features they experienced, pre-conversion. Feature request: (1) I wish you notate and share a recording, beginning at a specified timestamp, where the share link is only accessible to other Smartlook users and not be publicly available. This would allow me to more precisely share recordings with teammates without fearing a data leak. (2) I wish there was a specify something like "stop recording a single user after they have exceeded x number of sessions within the month." This would allow me to spend my recording sessions more judiciously to learn from newer users while preventing my power users from consuming a disproportionate amount of my session quota. However, when I view the user journey with multiple sessions, that causes me to start with the users most recent session instead of the beginning of the user journey. The heatmaps are really handy, and we use those as a tool to monitor user engagement on our websites. Another thing I really like is how you can quickly find a user's session, this is really helpful for us because if there are any bug reports from customers, we can get a real sense of what happened during their session.
