Ability to immediately have a starting point, a visual tool to use when beginning a new visualization. It is wide-ranging, with tools to create flow charts, org charts, floor plans, and other visual business tools. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

At times, some of the formatting tools (lines, typeface options) can take a bit of time to register and "fit" into the visual format. We always get there, but getting there faster would be great. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

There is a lot to like about SmartDraw, but I suppose what I like the best is the customer service. From the first interaction with sales through our 2nd year with the CSM, they have always been open, honest, and available when we need assistance. I wouldn't say this dislike is unique to SmartDraw, but being a web-based tool can sometimes be limiting compared to native desktop versions of design and charting software. That said, for what we use it for, this does not pose a problem. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

SmartDraw has a huge library of templates. Whether you need an org chart, a floor plan, or even a network diagram, there’s usually something to get you started. I also like how easy it is to export diagrams into PDF or images for sharing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

As part of my work role, I need to be able to depict accuate timelines of a series of events in an easy to read, diagramatic format, and SmartDraw includes that capability. The program is quite fun and eay to use, and allows for a consistently professional end-product to be created. Initially, being new to SD. I experienced several hinderances, but thanks to the patience and knowlede of a most wonderful customer support person, Ms. Vanessa Solis, I was professionally guided through the issues I was experiencing (not Smart Draw issues, but end-user issues), and now I am able to use SD with even more ease and proficiency - thanks indeed to Ms. Solis. It seems to me that Ms. Solis went above and beyond to assist me. She made a tiny video one day, and another day, she even set up a ZOOM tutorial event with me so that all of my issues could be addressed. I have only used one of the many diagram formats within SD, so I do not have a lot of experience to be able to answer this very thoroughly. Iniatially, I had several aspects that I was not enjoying about SD, but after being coached by Ms. Vanessa Solis as to the correct way to utilize the various features within SD, I no longer have any dislikes.
