SmartDraw has a user-friendly interface that makes it easy for to create professional-looking visuals. The drag-and-drop functionality simplifies the diagramming process. It has a good library of templates that can get me started quickly without having to design from scratch Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
For those unfamiliar with diagramming tools, using this tool could be overwhelming as there are many features available Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
SmartDraw is very easy and intuitive to use. We were using Lucid Charts and SmartDraw is a great improvement over that product. The sales and support are awesome. I would highly recommend. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The UI is absolutely horrendous. It is not easy to build org or flow charts at all. It's about as clunky as it gets and nothing makes sense - that's after using it for 4 years. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Mainly, I use the mechanical and piping diagram templates. The simple interface makes it very easy to use. I really like that you can make your own symbols and save it in a library for later use. I like how it is website based aswell, it does not take any physical storage, only cloud. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The symbol library is missing some symbols. Since i am from australia, some symbols might be different and i will need to draw my own symbols. The line snaps are also hard to use sometimes, the lines would snap to something else instead of the one i wanted to, and it is very hard to adjust. The aligning tool could be a bit more intellect and accurate. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
