Can create easily from complex database to database integrations, or more old school file upload integrations. **What do you dislike about SmartConnect?** I use almost exclusively the SmartConnect.com web version. Documentation could be better especially regarding Realtime integrations. The Scheduler seems spotty about when it will and won't work and saving Integrations Processes should be allowed earlier in the process. It gives us seamless integration with our Microsoft GP ERP system. I throw lots of questions at support and they are extremely responsive while providing potential solutions to my situations **What do you dislike about SmartConnect?** With the large number of integrations we have, I would like a more robust capability for source control. **What problems is SmartConnect solving and how is that benefiting you?** Integrations between our WMS and ERP, ERP and cloud eCommerce platforms, ERP and Salesforce. We also use it for many custom integrations into our ERP systems for accounting function and data exchanges with multiple external products. It's fairly easy to install and very easy to upgrade. The user interace is very intuitive and they offer a tremendous number of endpoints to integrate to/from. Also, their tech support is very good. I only contact them when I've tried everything I know to try. They are thoughtful, thorough and timely in their responses. **What do you dislike about SmartConnect?** The way me and my customers use SmartConnect, there are really just things I'd like to see improved. One would be the length of time integration logs are maintained. It's not bad, but I'd like to see at least 90 days. Also, the Global Variables concept is very clever, however there could be more documentation on how best to leverage this feature. Lastly, the web site is so-so. It used to be much more intuitive to me but an overhaul in 2023 or 2024 made it a bit more confusing to search their knowledgebase specifically. **What problems is SmartConnect solving and how is that benefiting you?** It enables my customers to send and receive data to/from a lot of different systems. Because it works so well, I look better in my customer's eyes since their business systems are flowing smoothly. ### 4. It's great for importing master data into a new database as well as keeping it in sync between multiple databases. It is also a wonderful option for ongoing transactional integrations between databases. It handles all my integration needs: supporting multiple sources and destinations, scheduling, and data transformation. eOne's website includes a helpful knowledgebase for troubleshooting issues. **What do you dislike about SmartConnect?** I'm getting used to the newer versions, but I prefer the way data sources were handled in SmartConnect 2018. **What problems is SmartConnect solving and how is that benefiting you?** SmartConnect streamlines and improves the accuracy of master data loads and beginning balance loads for implementation projects. It is an awesome way to develop and manage custom integrations between databases or system. It empowers me to build the integrations independently - without the assistance of a software developer. ### 7. When the situation arises that we need help, we've found eOne's support fast, friendly and effective. **What do you dislike about SmartConnect?** We can't find fault in this, as companies are in it for profit, but SmartConnect is not inexpensive. **What problems is SmartConnect solving and how is that benefiting you?** External systems data integration. Our primary data sources are outside of Dynamics GP and SmartConnect allows us to schedule regular integration jobs to keep the two systems nearly realtime. ### 9. You have unlimited abilities to manage your imports from simple to complete utilizing full scripting capabilities with t-sql, C# or VBA. Combined with pre and post integration steps, you can do anything. Add in error recovery and re-processing it is the whole package. **What do you dislike about SmartConnect?** Usually sold to end user as a simple integration tool for anyone... This is not accurate. You do need to have a understanding of eConnect and some data understanding of Dynamics GP. **What problems is SmartConnect solving and how is that benefiting you?** Once templates are developed it solves 90% of the daily routines all accounting departments have, and saves your company many hours of effort. ### 11.
