Everybody uses the app in the studio every day, and it's quite simple to explain. Its Europe-oriented settings, nice mobile app, comprehensive reporting features, and straightforward onboarding process make it a valuable tool for our studio. Implementation took us about two months to fully integrate, though companies with more standard setups might find the process even faster. While there are still areas for improvement, both on Sloneek’s side and within our tech team, the overall experience has been good. Logging in always feels great, as the graphic design is pleasant and welcoming. **What do you dislike about Sloneek?** Sloneek is in constant development. While there are features I’d love to see implemented, they’re often too niche to prioritize for the broader user base. As a result, we occasionally need to find creative workarounds to access the data we need. Fortunately, the tech support team is always happy to help. One area that could improve is the loading time, which can sometimes be an issue. Additionally, the workflows involve a fair amount of clicking, and when paired with frequent loading, the process can feel a bit tedious. **What problems is Sloneek solving and how is that benefiting you?** Initially, we tried to create our own attendance solution using Google Sheets, thinking a small animation studio wouldn’t require a larger app. However, as bigger projects came in, tracking attendance efficiently and meaningfully became increasingly difficult. That’s when we decided to give Sloneek a try, after seeing a Facebook ad, and doing a quick research of possible solutions on the market. After several months of use, we’re happy with the results. Team members can easily track their absences, salary management has become more streamlined, and we’ve established a better system for handling documents and tools. Thanks to its clear interface and wide range of features, it significantly simplifies our daily operations. From the headquarters, we can clearly see which teams in which areas need to be strengthened or, conversely, use human resources for other purposes, which allows us flexible human resource management. **What do you dislike about Sloneek?** Sloneek is a useful tool for employee management, but it has its shortcomings. The creation of attendance is limited in some respects – for example, in the case of annual type, it is not possible to copy data in the case of alternating attendance, which reduces work efficiency. The mobile application is also limited because it does not allow performing all the tasks available on the computer, which can be a disadvantage for users who need to work on the go or outside the office. **What problems is Sloneek solving and how is that benefiting you?** Sloneek helps us mainly with "print administration" issues – thanks to it, we don't need to have binders in the offices because all documents are uniformly stored in the cloud. Management can monitor operations across the country online, which is a great benefit especially during inspections from the authorities. I didn't find the integration difficult, of course it's a new tool and you need time to familiarise yourself with it. However, the Sloneek team is available if you have any questions. You have all employee information in one tool You can build the structure of your company You can send the documents for signature and archive them immediately Assign tasks and add attachments I love the dashboard - you can see exactly who is on holiday or working from home and you can write announcements for the whole team. There are so many features here for HR managers, from onboarding to recruiting. Unfortunately, we are still in the test phase so I can't say much about it yet. One really nice feature is the trust box. Where employees can send us anonymous messages. The support is amazing - you can send questions to the person and AI Boot via the tool. If you need another call, it's no problem - it usually happens the next day. That's a huge plus for us. **What do you dislike about Sloneek?** Unfortunately, users cannot customise their hours. But it's a habitual thing - as we are still in the initial phase - we find it a bit difficult. The template creation is a bit basic you can't format much. You can neither move nor copy the individual skills. It would be easier if you could just select the activities that you do. It's like double work if you have to record the hours in the activity and also normally. **What problems is Sloneek solving and how is that benefiting you?** - Recording of employee hours - previously our employees had no overview of hours - as we used a tool that was orientated towards projects. - Help for our HR - previously we used an Excel list for all employees. I know I always forget Sloneek can also be used as a physical terminal to track when people come and go from the office. My advice - give it some time, and check everything in detail. You’ll be surprised at how much it can do and might just find the feature you searched for but couldn’t find anywhere else. **What problems is Sloneek solving and how is that benefiting you?** Sloneek can track my project time, I can check absences, confirm or sign documents, check status of assets (company tech or software accounts), etc. It gives great overview of the whole ’life’ of a company, all data an HR professional needs, but also a great tool for project managers. My experience so far has been with platforms that could store data in digital form, but could not work any further with it. It was then difficult to force colleagues to migrate to these platforms when the difference between storing documents digitally and entering data into the platform was not that significant. Sloneek is different in this. Its approach is data-driven and so far it has tried to live up to it with regular updates and methodological support. It takes a partial change of mindset to be able to leverage it, but it's that change that will move your HR fast forward. So for me, Sloneek is an HRIS platform that has great standard features but a completely superior way of working with them. Simple to use, comprehensive in the data it gives you. This is how it should be. One final note to end on: thanks to Sloneek, CEOs and CFOs often understand for the first time how profound the economic implications of an HR strategy are. Because with Sloneek, you'll be speaking their language too. **What do you dislike about Sloneek?** Sloneek works with great promise for complex data handling. Many of these - though not the most important ones - are not being covered yet. But a look at the public product pipeline (which it is delivering on so far) is encouraging on this. **What problems is Sloneek solving and how is that benefiting you?** In a changing economy, it is difficult to work with different scenarios, which of course include HR. In the past, this was an unsolvable Gordian knot. Now - especially through the application of competency models - we can work much better with the limits of teams and their development needs. This reduces the risk of people leaving and improves promotion management capabilities many times over. We have digital twins of employees, we anticipate their problems. It's a long journey that combines data and professional empathy, but it's succeeding.
