I like that I have COMPLETEL MICRO-MANAGED CONTROL over which notifications I receive, where (on mobile / desktop) and when (times of day).

It helps me cut out the chit-chat in a team channel, for example, and not be notified out of business hours.

Or, if I'm away from the computer during business hours, I'll be notified on my mobile if I don't see the desktop notification after 5 mintues.

I wish I could mute individual private messages.... some of my colleagues (the younger ones) type a few words at a time then hit "send" as if we're chatting on Insta or Snapchat or something.... and all that dinging during phone calls makes it hard to hear.
