It’s very customisable and helps organisations work better together. I really like being able to set up different types of channels and groups, depending on what the team needs. The new canvas feature has also improved the quality of my 1:1s, because it makes the information you need easy to find and access in one place.
It’s also useful for communicating across organisations. On top of that, there are loads of integrations with other apps like Google Suite, Kadence, Miro, and more, which means you rarely need to leave Slack to stay on top of your work day. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Although I’m a big fan overall, it can still be hard to track down previous conversations. The search functionality isn’t great, and the AI features haven’t reached a point where they feel truly indispensable. I’d also add that, despite improvements over the years, managing the sheer volume of chats and channels I’m part of remains difficult. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
