There are features and elements everywhere. Seems very complex, and I'm a tech-savvy person, but I never know exactly where on my phone I can get the latest notifications or not. I don't want a notification for everything. I don't understand when I get notified. People tag you. Sometimes they don't tag you. A message. So I never exactly know when it's for me, when it's for the community. There are some notifications I would like just for specific channels, but not everyone, and I can't easily find how to set it up. There is a huge difference between the interface on a browser versus what you get on the phone. It's very messy. It's not easy to find information. There are icons everywhere. I don't enjoy the experience at all, but it's the only option that Notion as well as the investor community proposes for this chatting. I use Slack as my primary hub for team communication, technical discussions, and code review coordination. I love how Slack streamlines daily team communication through structured channels, context-focused tracking, and instant audio and screen sharing huddles. Slack huddles are absolutely my favorite as they are instant and without the hassle of scheduling a meeting. The structured channels create clear boundaries for different projects, clients, and topics, providing a more organized communication space instead of a chaotic chat. Slack is integral to our company's communication and collaboration, solving problems like delayed decision-making and reducing email clutter. What do you dislike about Slack? I find managing notification noise overwhelming as there's no manual mute button for individual channels, and I notice that replies in threads often get lost or overlooked. I really like the intuitive UI of Slack. I've used some other competitors across my career, but Slack has been the easiest to use. I really like the threads feature that allows effective team communication and I love the emoji section within the threads where you can communicate without having to write a word. The fact that Slack now has external connectors is amazing; you can connect AI agents and have them perform multiple tasks, which is very effective and saves a lot of time. Also, setting up Slack is quite convenient and doesn't take a lot of time because the UI is very intuitive. I would rate it a solid nine out of 10. I thoroughly enjoy using Slack. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Slack? Yeah. Recently, I've been struggling a lot with the Huddle feature. I really liked that feature previously, but I don't know if it's something on my end or whatever, but I've heard this feedback across different team members also. The Huddle feature isn't the most effective now. It usually gets dropped or there's a lag between the people who are conversing over Huddle, I mean, that's a bit frustrating. "Best Way to Connect with the Salesforce Community Worldwide" 4.5/5 What do you like best about Slack? i am using this from last 6 to 7 months and this appilication is the best source to join and connect with the community and the workspaces as i'm the active member of the salesforce community so this software helps me alot to fulfill the bridge of the different commnunity members sitting across the world. I love how easy Slack makes communication across teams. The search function helps me quickly find previous conversations, shared files, and decisions without needing to ask colleagues to resend information. I appreciate how threads keep replies connected to the original message, ensuring channels remain organized. I also enjoy the integration tools like Google and Jira. These integrations allow us to share documents, receive updates, and track tasks directly within Slack, saving time and reducing the need to switch between tools.
