What do you dislike about Skyward Student Information System? There's a lot I don't like about Skyward Student Management Suite. It looks very outdated and it's not user-friendly. Everything is very small, making it hard to see. Our district chose to purchase the cheaper level, so we don't have all the functions. Even the absolute minimum ones it does offer aren't very good. The ability to integrate all school-managed data in one place is a big benefit. Since Skyward is a web-based platform, it makes it very convenient to use and to complete my daily tasks remotely. I like how easy things are from the financial perspective. Balances are easy to look up and everything that has come through the account us easily visible. Also the expense reimbursement portal is not so self explanatory and putzy. I’ve had to walk many teachers through the step by step process of expense reimbursements. My campus using Skyward for the majority of the paperwork and organization for students. For example, we use it to store all personal information and paperwork so it is easily accessible by all necessary parties from the teacher, staff, and administration side. In addition, our counselors use it to create student schedules and track credits earned. Teachers use it as a grade book to efficiently communicate assignments and grades with students and parents. I love that information can be viewed and accessed on either desktop or mobile. I also like that everything is all in one place. If there is an email that I missed or deleted accidentally, they are all in the message center in Skyward.
