We used a partner to help, but could easily have learned how to use it and set it up without help. We were just operating on a very tight timeline and decided that buying the expertise would help us achieve our goal. We set up an integration between our Salesforce org and a custom-built on-premise database that is used every day. The integration runs three times per day, on a schedule, and that works wonderfully for us. I only contacted their support team once, so not much of a sample but my experience with the support team was very favorable. They responded quickly and resolved my issue satisfactorily. I have a very specific purpose for using Skyvia, so the number of features in the system is not that significant to me. However I am impressed by the number of connectors they have available. **What do you dislike about Skyvia?** I don't have much to say about what I dislike. I'm very satisfied with the system. Perhaps the only issue would be the amount of record transfers that are included in the base price of the various product tiers. I understand the need to have flexible pricing, but perhaps the base packages could be expanded to include a larger amount of record transfers before the overage charge occurs. **What problems is Skyvia solving and how is that benefiting you?** Managing shared data between Salesforce and on-premise custom database. ### 2. Rather easy to configure and to integrate. **What do you dislike about Skyvia?** The number of available queries for a free basic account is too limited, and some business features are rather costly. When setting up the beta environment and testing the connection between Power BI and HubSpot with the OData connector, we had no difficulty at all. The entire process took less than 15 minutes to be honest. Nowadays, the analyst team working with Power BI doesn’t have to delve into the technical details of the HubSpot Power BI integration. They just extract data via HubSpot OData endpoint directly in Power BI, and use it for specific HubSpot or more complex reports involving several sources. **What do you dislike about Skyvia?** "During the beta connection stage, we got an error for incompatibility of OData version in Power BI. It's clear what to back up, when, and with which parameters. Simplicity is the key! Moreover, we have discovered that it's possible to schedule backups regularly, so there is no chance you forget something, even though this option is extra and costs. **What do you dislike about Skyvia?** There isn't anything to dislike, but just to note. Once you run out of storage space on a free plan, you can't create new snapshots because it's necessary to delete some of the historic records. In the past, we've had not very cheerful experience when we couldn't access the needed information. The solution is easy to use and very intuitive. We have had to make some configuration changes to some endpoints due to changing end user requirements. Administration of the various connections and endpoints is a snap. Our organization is exclusively using Skyvia to permit access to our cloud hosted databases by 3rd party solutions. As we are a small business, all our employees use this application. We are using Connect with an annual professional subscription which we find to be a great value for our needs. It’s easy to transfer data from MS Dynamics to HubSpot even though the structure of these tools is different. But by creating custom fields everything becomes doable. Skyvia makes data migration comfortable from MS Dynamics to HubSpot. **What do you dislike about Skyvia?** At the beginning, it was not very easy to understand how advanced mapping works in Skyvia. Documentation is comprehensive and good but we would like to access some kind of 24/7 live support which is not available. This is the thing that we really hope Skyvia will soon have. **What problems is Skyvia solving and how is that benefiting you?** We are currently using a self-coded interface for our customer. However, the problem is that MS Dynamics is not built identically to Hubspot in terms of property fields. For instance, direct transfer to a Multiselect field from MS Dynamics in Hubspot is not possible due to the non-identical structure. The Multiselect property field must therefore be transferred from MS Dynamics to Hubspot in a free text field. This procedure is very time-consuming as it involves several multiselect fields. With Skyvia, everything has become much more simple due to powerful transformation options it offers along with advanced data mapping opportunities. Therefore, it is not much easier to map and transfer data fields from MS Dynamics to HubSpot. ### 20. We noticed that Skyvia is using 2CheckOut for invoicing/billing. It's a bit of a hassle to have to find your invoices separately. If only you can put the invoicing/billing data on the same UI as the admin panel, that would be great and help us save time trying to find Skyvia invoices for accounting. My data is backup regularly, so I don’y have to keep everything in mind and then worry that today the Dynamics snapshot was not made. I was informed that Skyvia is hosted on Microsoft Azure platform with up-to-date security protocols, so I don’t worry about data leaks or something like that at all. **What do you dislike about Skyvia?** Well, there is a free plan for Backup but it has some limitations. I need to see changes in Dynamics base of my customers over time but snapshot comparison is available under paid plans. Everything is so clear on the UI and the documentation is really exhaustive, so doing the things you need won’t take much time. Another thing we liked about Skyvia is its free plan, we started with a simple data integration scenario completely with no payment but plan to upgrade as we need to transfer other data from SQL Server to Shopify. However, this won’t cost an arm and a leg - we were told that the approximate monthly payment would be around $15 or something like that, which is really great! So we really recommend Skyvia for small businesses that have a limited budget for extra tools. **What do you dislike about Skyvia?** We liked everything about Skyvia, so there is not much to complain about at the moment. The only thing we would suggest is providing 24/7 support as it could be really helpful. Even though documentation is great for the tool, contacting the service directly might save lots of time. **What problems is Skyvia solving and how is that benefiting you?** Our main goal was to align order shipment details on our side and the client’s side. The shipment details and order tracking number provided by courier services are stored on our internal SQL Server. To make a customer aware of this tracking number we had to input everything manually to the corresponding account on the Shopify website.
