-The SkyPrep interface is straightforward. It's simple to use for both admins and learners. A lot of LMS's attempt to make their user interfaces similar to social media platforms which in theory makes sense but, in practice, can leave the user lost and disengaged.

No downsides to the product, just a wish list item. A QR system that could capture active licenses and certifications. I work in the civil construction industry and during our audits (internal/external) the ability to show immediate, active certification and licensure would help streamline the process. The software is quite easy to learn/use and helps our team work more efficiently in developing, delivering, tracking, and reporting on trainings. The support is excellent and consistent with very little wait time. They are continuously improving their services and features, as well as provide quick updates and customizations. Other than a few extra clicks when navigating to and through trainings, nothing. The program works consistently and the LMS performs every time. If you encounter any unexpected limitation, all you need to do is call SkyPrep and their team will explain possible solutions or work through the limitation to create a new solution. SkyPrep serves up content in a simple way for Learners to consume. It's a basic LMS with the ability to build content directly within SkyPrep, load/paste content from other sources, or even embed SCORM files. It's a relatively versatile tool for how simple it appears on the surface. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

While there are a variety of ways to create and serve up content in SkyPrep, all of them seem to have their own frustrations. If the basic templates for creating content meet your needs perfectly - great! If you need to make even minor adjustments, you need to tediously dig through messy HTML, then save and reload to see if it worked. Rinse. Repeat. Once you have the content built, making small updates requires the same tedious process. SkyPrep's performance also leaves a lot to be desired. It's excruciatingly slow for even basic tasks, and they have seemingly no interest in improving performance. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

SkyPrep is very simple to use, I can teach new LMS admins how to build a course in 30 mins. Building courses and learning paths is multitudes more simple than any other LMS I have worked with. Also, the customer service and response time when we have a question is the best I have seen from an LMS provider in my 15+ years in the industry. For our learners it is just as simple. We have all external customers using the system, including about 20% international, who are not native English speakers so we needed an LMS that was as easy to use as "falling off a log". Our biggest delta is the user navigation is in two places. It is not a big problem and we do not get many calls on it but you navigate a course by either hitting a next button to the upper right or you can scroll down and click on the content. We would like to have one or the other, not both. For now we can not change that. Also the separators look good but do not work well in the mobile environment. If you click on one you get a grey screen and need to click again to move on. We wish the separators did not show that way. What I like best about SkyPrep are the user-friendly interface and robust reporting features. The platform allows for many different combinations of reporting through the Advanced Reporting Feature. You can customize just about any type of report you are looking for. This is extremely helpful for my organization as we are in the financial services industry and must provide different types of completion statistics to auditors/regulators on a regular basis. The interface is extremely user-friendly. You can create a course in minutes along with set different parameters for the course. If there is a video in the course you can customize/disable playback controls and safeguard how the employee navigates through the course. You can also enforce modular sequence within a course that requires some or all course elements to be completed before the employee can 'pass' the course, and so much more! It's hard to nail down a dislike but I guess there is always room for improvement right? Depending on what type of report you are pulling, it could take quite some time. There are larger reports such as an All User report. This report contains all of the users in the platform (active/inactive/disabled) and what courses they were enrolled in along with completion statistics for courses completed. Due to the amount of information on this report, it can take some time to download. This could cause a slight inconvenience based on how quickly you need the information. SkyPrep was an excellent choice for our organization both in its inexpensive cost and ease of use. During implementation, the SkyPrep team worked closely with us to make sure we were successful in meeting our goals and often responded to inquiries within a business day. The platform is customizable enough that I feel I have enough control of the system without requiring significant HTML or coding knowledge to make it work. SkyPrep is growing, so not all features are currently available or are in development. For example, it just released gamification last year.
