We were able to upload content, enroll users, create groups, and understand how to generate reports, right out of the box. The intuitive UI is a model for other learning management systems. **What do you dislike about SkyPrep?** At this point SkyPrep has checked every box. I wouldn't want to be an LMS manager for any other system. This system is a huge win for our department, it gave us visibility I didn't expect within the organization. **Recommendations to others considering SkyPrep:** The amount of features relative to the price has been an easy sell to upper management. The ease-of-use enables this decision to get the attention of management because of all the deliverables: reporting, engagement, fast implementation, and results seen in process changes from the employees. **What problems is SkyPrep solving and how is that benefiting you?** We are able to roll out state mandated training for our industry and at the end of the deadline, report back to management that we have achieved 100% participation. This eliminates the need to outsource any of the process, keeping cost down. We are able to create sub platforms for different divisions within the organization, including customized branding for the users. ### 2. So user friendly. I also like the support and help features. I like that I can adapt the masthead to accommodate our client brand. I can implement and track all of my training deliverables and measure the knowledge uptake of my trainees. We have been using SkyPrep for nearly 10 years and have seen it as a valuable learning tool for our organisation. Its perfect for our organisation and can adapt to our changing business climate easily. **What do you dislike about SkyPrep?** I would like to see a more flexible dashboard and reporting function. I sometimes have issues exporting content but I believe that could also be attributed to our internal systems. **Recommendations to others considering SkyPrep:** A great learning tool with multiple uses. Easy to use and implement. **What problems is SkyPrep solving and how is that benefiting you?** I am able to keep my finger on the pulse in regards to my teams knowledge and skills. I also discover knowledge gaps within my team and can target particular gaps. I use SkyPrep in my general induction as well as using it for Pop quiz's, and general surveys. Our organisation is growing at a fast pace and I am looking forward to upgrading to the pro version and rolling it out across a wider audience with in the organisation. Our employees also praise how easy SkyPrep is to use and like the way that they can receive direct feedback on assessments and courses. The platform is highly intuitive and operates on a fast system which makes tasks from simple to complex fast and easy to complete. Configuring SkyPrep was extremely easy as the coding behind the GUI is well designed to be robust yet simple to navigate and use. There are also " Help Resources" within quick reach that are well thought out and complete in answering any questions that come up with "How-To" information. A HELP desk is only a click away for unique or more detailed questions, which honestly are infrequent. Uploading course content in a wide variety of formats is extremely easy using SkyPrep's drag and drop feature. This saves large amounts of time and makes course creation quick and effective. Tools to track learner activity and use are well designed and easy use. The reporting functions are robust and offer a wide range of options for designing the type of desired output. All in all SkyPrep is an excellent Learning Management System and should strongly be considered for organizations who desire a complete system that is affordable, while friendly and easy to use and administer. **What do you dislike about SkyPrep?** SkyPrep is adding a "soft due date" option that allows learners to access and complete a course even if the original due date has passed. Currently this is unavailable. **Recommendations to others considering SkyPrep:** You will not be disappointed. **What problems is SkyPrep solving and how is that benefiting you?** 1. Our learners are busy billable people who need quick and easy access to learning and development content. SkyPrep provides that for them. 2. Creating courses and uploading course content and materials can be done quickly and easily using SkyPrep which allows us to be flexible and agile in providing timely learning material to members of our staff. ### 4. Interface is easy to use, not too feature heavy, simplistic (which was desired). **What do you dislike about SkyPrep?** The interface between skyprep and boost HQ with users and groups being added and removed could be more seamless. **Recommendations to others considering SkyPrep:** It's a very easy to use LMS. It is not the most design forward, but it is feature robust where it needs to be and support is excellent. **What problems is SkyPrep solving and how is that benefiting you?** We have a combination of external and internal users and a very flexible user base as many of our employees are contract. Skyprep pricing model and "active user" designation was a huge benefit to us. Being able to customize the learning paths to specific groups and individuals is well thought out. Learner and admin interface are simple (it's not the most design forward system) but we liked that. Users are having a great experience thus far. ### 6. By being a user friendly program, our team members are finding it easier to be in charge of their own learning. They self-assign courses that are of interest to them. As we continue to grow out programs in the LMS, we expect our team members will continue to own their learning and the company's learning culture. **What do you dislike about SkyPrep?** I would like the Resource Catalog to be easier to sort for team member. On the admin side I would like the ability to see more courses on a page - especially on the Resource Catalog page. **Recommendations to others considering SkyPrep:** SkyPrep is a robust system. As with any system, be clear on what you need vs what you want. The SkyPrep team is exceptional and will work with you to meet all your needs and provide your wants. The more clear you are, the better they will be able to help. **What problems is SkyPrep solving and how is that benefiting you?** We are only starting to grow a learning culture here, and the ease of the program has allowed us to see a very quick uptake. Additionally, we are able to run reports to quickly find out completions, registrations and achievements. ### 7. Everything is very well laid out to make it easy to understand what you are doing. Our organization uses G Suite and the full integration that Skyprep has with G Suite makes it very easy to add content from Google Drive. **What do you dislike about SkyPrep?** I wish there was a way to create surveys in the UI. I currently have to create surveys as assessments and this can be confusing to the end users. Even if there was a way to just have the symbol look different for a survey vs an assessment in the course it would be very helpful. Right now if I have an assessment and a survey in a course it appears to the user as having 2 assessments. Also being able to have the 0-10 scale questions for surveys vs just creating it as multiple choice would be very helpful. **Recommendations to others considering SkyPrep:** If you are looking for an LMS that is very easy to use and very easy to implement, Skyprep is the way to go! Our organization uses G Suite for everything, the Skyprep integration with G Suite makes it very easy to add content in any of the Google formats (Google Docs, Google Slides). Other LMS vendors we looked at required you to save a Google Slides presentation as a pdf before it could be uploaded to their system, with Skyprep you can upload the Google Slides presentation directly. **What problems is SkyPrep solving and how is that benefiting you?** We are training our internal (sales/support) and external users on how to use our software. The layout of Skyprep makes it very easy for the users to understand how to access the training classes. ### 8. The menu options are intuitive and the reporting is easy to understand. This functionality is available in other LMSs. **Recommendations to others considering SkyPrep:** Make sure to plan your groups and learning paths ahead of time and plan for your scale, so that your reporting makes sense in the long term. **What problems is SkyPrep solving and how is that benefiting you?** I have not experienced any day-to-day problems. Our employees who had never been familiar with LMS very quickly entered the course of the matter and began to use it. I like the ease of adding a course, as well as how easily I can transfer all the information to my students. **What do you dislike about SkyPrep?** Sometimes there are a lot of notifications and I can not find the information I need right among them. Assignment is easy, and it even offers several bulk user management tools that make our workflow much simpler. I've also found that the notification tool is great, and allows you to preset a number of conditions where a user can/should be notified, and you can also customize each notification template. Finally, I would like to add that every interaction that I have had with the Skyprep team has been positive. Whether it was a discussion about future updates or my experience with the product, or in the rare cases where I've hit an issue, the team is always very professional and responsive. **What do you dislike about SkyPrep?** I wish that there were more options to update and customize the interface look/feel. Another minor issue is that many of the updates happen prior to any announcement, leaving you with little, if any, time to adjust or send out a communication. **Recommendations to others considering SkyPrep:** If you need an easy solution for your LMS needs at a low cost, I'd recommend SkyPrep. **What problems is SkyPrep solving and how is that benefiting you?** Our internal LMS is linked to our HRIS system, so we needed an external LMS that we could use to train our distribution partners on our products easily. Skyprep works great for that! It is easy to interact with and our users complete their training with very little questions. **What do you dislike about SkyPrep?** For my company we need a better reporting platform than the basic reports you can run right now. After talking to the support team though I have heard word of that they are revamping this section and I should be able to run more complex reports in the future. **What problems is SkyPrep solving and how is that benefiting you?** We use SkyPrep as a training platform for all new employees and for filed employees learning a new trade. What we liked best about Skyprep, and continue to like, is the support they provide. The support is much more personal than what you'd get with much larger organizations. We always talk to the same employees when needing assistance, which makes the support easier because they understand our business and needs. You don't have to reintroduce and explain yourself over and over again as you work with different support agents because we always speak with the same support agents. The pricing model that Skyprep has was aligned with our business needs which was another factor for the purchase. **What do you dislike about SkyPrep?** Skyprep uses many different 3rd party services in their application, just like any other SaaS company on the market. Some to name that they are use Rackspace CDN, Amazon AWS, Filestack, JW Player, etc. We purchased a white label domain so that the LMS would be under our domain name, as the majority of our clients are behind their corporate firewall and only allow access to authorized sites. Our clients whitelisted our domain, but all the other 3rd party services that skyprep uses causes some of our clients to not be able to access the LMS because they must white list all these other services. Skyprep was not able to provide a full list of all the 3rd party services they use along with ports and IP addresses needed to be white listed by our customers. **Recommendations to others considering SkyPrep:** SkyPrep may appear to be a small company, but they are going big places. We see a long future with SkyPrep which is why we purchased their product.
