If there's one area to watch, it's that Skydog's technical strength can sometimes lead to solutions that are more complex than what we ultimately need. They're so capable with Salesforce that it's easy for the implementation to trend toward over-building, which can create unnecessary operational complexity or technical debt down the line. We've learned that it's important for us, as the client, to keep the scope tight and ensure we're aligning on simplicity where possible. When guided on that front, they deliver exceptionally well. Recommendations to others considering Skydog Ops: Skydog has real technical capability, and on a tightly scoped, well-managed piece of work their strongest people deliver. But the experience overall was inconsistent enough, and expensive enough, that I'd recommend them only with real caveats. If you go forward, treat scope and budget discipline as your job, not theirs: define deliverables narrowly, cap the budget up front, and don't pay for anything that isn't working and complete. Make sure you've got someone on your side holding them accountable to all of it. In our experience the value didn't match the cost, and there are firms in the marketplace offering better value for comparable work. Worth shopping around before you commit. Skydog is helping us execute a major Salesforce implementation that touches nearly every part of our business — billing, onboarding, pre-sales data, post-sales operations, and customer experience. They combine deep technical expertise with strong project management, which has allowed them to lead the work end-to-end rather than simply respond to tickets. They've been instrumental in architecting solutions, building the infrastructure, and keeping the project on track. In steady state, they also support our sales and operations teams by troubleshooting issues, refining processes, and ensuring Salesforce remains reliable and scalable as we grow. Many times I've had an idea that I did not know how to solve, and they've always been open to taking it back, doing some thinking, and coming up with creative proposals that I would not have been able to (or did not have the time to) come up with on my own. They have helped us tremendously in translating our ideas into executable steps, enabling us to push out marketing initiatives much quicker than before. Skydog Ops helped us audit our Hubspot instance, providing concrete steps to optimize it and clean up years of stale data and infrastructure debt. With their assistance, we were able to set up Hubspot to send out email campaigns and support our top-of-funnel efforts. I also appreciate how they assist with broader marketing efforts across different channels, helping with retargeting, audience building, landing page creation, and email marketing. They are highly responsive, deeply knowledgeable and genuinely enjoyable to work with. They took the time to understand our business and our objectives, then translated those into thoughtful, practical Salesforce solutions. Rather than prescribe a single approach, they consistently present multiple options, explain the tradeoffs and make recommendations based on what's best for us, not on any particular product or vendor. They are proactive, regularly solicit feedback, anticipate our needs, and have done an outstanding job keeping an ambitious project on track. They feel like an extension of our own team. They bring a ton of knowledge and have been a huge unlock for us as we've been building a lot of this for the first time. They bring best practices, push our thinking, and help us make the right strategic calls on CRM architecture, automation, and workflows. Their technical depth is the real teal. They did an excellent job with our accelerated Salesforce implementation (5 weeks!) and are shaping our broader GTM OS so our systems and data actually work together end-to-end. The impact has been felt across Turnkey. They took the time to truly understand our business and how our team operates, which is why the outputs have been so strong. Before Skydog, we had no idea how to approach the migration from Attio to Salesforce. The benefit is huge: for the business, it means faster execution across teams, better reporting --\> better decision-making, and an operating system that can actually support our aggressive growth targets.
