From an HR and workforce analytics perspective, it provides concrete, defensible insights that move conversations beyond anecdotal feedback or focus groups. The platform is especially strong in highlighting skill fit for internal mobility decisions, helping reduce bias and support more equitable talent movement. Overall, SkillPanel’s insights enable HR, L&D, and managers to clearly identify opportunities for targeted training, succession planning, and improvements to recruiting processes. **What do you dislike about SkillPanel?** From an HR systems perspective, the biggest limitation I noticed is the lack of direct integration with formal performance cycles and other HR systems. For example, while the platform is strong for assessing skills and offers both manager- and self-assessments, it currently does not tie this information back to formal performance management processes, such as performance reviews or 1:1s. Similarly, integration with other HR systems would be beneficial. Finally, because the tool is very comprehensive, it can be somewhat challenging for new users to learn and navigate effectively. Overall, enhancements to the UX and additional automations or integrations would make the platform even more user-friendly and efficient. **What problems is SkillPanel solving and how is that benefiting you?** SkillPanel helps solve key workforce challenges related to identifying skill gaps, improving internal mobility, and supporting data-driven HR decisions. The tool gives an easy follow-up process for the employees who need to improve their technical skills in a way that mapping the missing areas and providing the data related to work-in-progress. It's also nice that both employees, managers and HR professionals can reach out these data to evaluate & manage the talent with the collaboration. **What do you dislike about SkillPanel?** I liked the objective of the tool however I found it not user-friendly in terms of finding the information you're looking for, a bit difficult to learn and not easy to navigate the platform which makes it less efficient. On the other hand, while for technical skills the tool is very comprehensive and objective, it is not clear how to evaluate and test the soft-skills through the platform. **What problems is SkillPanel solving and how is that benefiting you?** As a digital talent management tool, the aim of the DevSkiller aligns with the problem of the skill gap analysis & management process in HR. The TalentBoost tries to automate this process as much as possible by providing comprehensive details of the skills to related stakeholders. This is critical when it comes to attraction and retention of the talent. During the hiring strategies, the tool can help you to understand the real gaps and missing skills in your team and it contributes to having a more objective hiring process.
