"Guiding customer facing resources with data and purposeful actions"
5/5
What do you like best about Skilljar by Gainsight?

I really value the Skilljar learning track capabilities within Gainsight. It’s easy to quickly publish content, and the platform does a great job supporting engaging learning experiences through gamification and high-quality video content. The ability to curate structured learning paths makes it simple to drive adoption and deliver meaningful enablement at scale. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Skilljar by Gainsight?

While Skilljar is strong for content delivery and engagement, some administrative and reporting capabilities can require additional effort to fully operationalize. At times, managing content updates or extracting insights at scale can feel less streamlined than expected. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Course Management, Powerful Analytics"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Skilljar by Gainsight?

I love the analytics feature of Skilljar by Gainsight. It's very simple to use, not just for us but for our customers too. They can easily track their users' progress through courses by using shared dashboards, which reduces the task of manually reporting every week or every 15 days. Now, customers can log in and see the live data, which is a significant benefit for us. This automation and simplicity are some of the main things we love about it. What do you dislike about Skilljar by Gainsight?

I believe the quiz management part is one thing where it can be improved, especially the question bank. Right now, if I have to create a quiz, I have to create the question banks first and then add them in a single place. If I could create it from that quiz page itself, it could save time and effort. Otherwise, I have to maintain two different windows, which can be a tedious process at times, so this can be improved. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Straightforward, Consistent LMS with Helpful Support"
4/5
What do you like best about Skilljar by Gainsight?

It's straightforward to use, consistent. Has the standard LMS features we would expect. We have a great CSM who has been tremendously helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Skilljar by Gainsight?

It's a bit expensive. Skilljar doesn't have all the integrations would like and pace of updates and improvements seems to have slowed. Parts of the system feel dated and don't offer the level of customization or visual appeal we would like. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Generally happy, but there are negatives"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Skilljar by Gainsight?

Skilljar support is fine. Reasonably quick to respond, etc. They took our CSM away and now we have to use a queue, and I absolutely hate that, but they are reasonably responsive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Skilljar by Gainsight?

Reporting. The reporting has improved some, but frankly it's still pretty abysmal. Frequently I have to export to CSV and do tons of work outside of Skilljar to get useful data. And I frequently get requests for access to data that I essentially can't help with, because the data isn't accessible in a usable way even when we put it into Salesforce. "Streamlined Course Hosting, Needs Advanced Reporting"
4/5
What do you like best about Skilljar by Gainsight?

I love that Skilljar by Gainsight allows us to host all of our training material in one centralized location, which has significantly improved our ability to track course completions. Our customers enjoy the modern and clean interface, enhancing their overall experience. I appreciate the robust automation features which simplify setting up reminders, tracking progress, and generating certificates, making these processes seamless once configured. Furthermore, I value the customization options that let me tailor the entire portal to reflect our company’s brand, providing clients with a consistent training experience within our ecosystem. Overall, these features enhance user engagement and efficiency in managing training programs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Skilljar by Gainsight?

I find the reporting capabilities of Skilljar by Gainsight to be limited. The basic features like who completed what and scores are available, but when I want to dig deeper or build custom reports, I hit a roadblock. This restriction necessitates exporting data to Excel, which is time-consuming. Additionally, the certification setup process was a bit complicated, despite the overall setup being straightforward.
