I've been using SketchWow since the early days, and it's become a critical resource for me in my work. I do a lot of presentations, mainly with my graphics and custom models. It's the easiest and quickest way for me to capture my thoughts and work out something that will get the job done. I like that it's designed to give me that "hand-drawn" look and feel I want, especially when I am early in the ideation process. I won't immediately know where I want to get to and need to test alternative designs and approaches. The stock components help me go quickly from a thought to something visual quicker than doing freehand drawings or using more complex graphics/drawing packages. In all, it's a serious bargain for the capabilities it provides, and I cannot imagine not having this tool in my workflow! I enthusiastically endorse SketchWow! The only thing I dislike about SketchWow is that it does an online license check every time you open the software. This isn't very pleasant because you must be online to use it. When I travel, there are times that I'd like to work and may not have network connectivity. In those situations, I'm currently out of luck. I love the animations the most. The animations breathe life into presentations, transforming static content into engaging visual stories. I can create animation that captures and maintains the audience's attention. I love the animated dotted lines and dashes that help guide the audience as I go through a presentation. The only downsides are the learning curve and the time to create the animations. It's not very intuitive, so this causes me to have to spend more time than I would using PowerPoint. I would like to see an upgrade to the animation tool to apply settings to speed up the time it takes to create one animation slide and less fingering, which can tire out the hands. I create a ton of presentations, documents and training materials. When I start with a new client or on a new project, one of the most time consuming tasks is getting to a common vision for the look and feel of the materials. SketchWow has made this a more efficient and pleasant process by providing a quick and easy way for me to generate a lot of different samples in a wide variety of styles. Then, when the client finds something they really like, it's easy to generate elements to insert into the final products. I find the templates better than Canva. I find the two products together make everything that my InDesign Specialist at work takes a week to do. I find the programme extremely fast to make my graphic ideas come to life. It was easy to start using. It's very easy to learn, and once you know how to use it, the workflow becomes much smoother and faster.
