"Best wood design tool on market"

What do you like best about SketchList 3D?

Easy to read shop drawings for easy assembly of parts, cutout layouts to conserve materials Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SketchList 3D?

High cost of the pro version. Hobby version has good pricing, but with limited project amounts. Maybe have a third product that costs less than pro but offer more features than hobby. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great 3D software"
5/5
What do you like best about SketchList 3D?

I like that you are able to creat custom items and determine which ones will work best for your. You can see it without having to take hours or days to create on a piece of paper. It lets you save your work and compare what will work best for you. You can view it in depth with the right measurements before you continue your project and see how it will work in a 3d dimension. Pretty awesome software. It has helped me a lot and I hope it will help you as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SketchList 3D?

There were a few things I wasn’t sure how to use but I went trying new things and going in the web to see how I could correct my errors and it was pretty simple. I’m more of a visual person so this was a pretty cool software to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"CAD Software that works the way you do!"
5/5
What do you like best about SketchList 3D?

I have used most major CAD packages over my 30 year career, and Sketchlist is certainly my favorite.

What sets it apart is that you are not drawing a completed 2D object then extruding it into 3D, but rather starting with a board and cutting, shaping and milling details into it in the same way you would work the board in your woodshop.

The 3D renderings are excellent as selling tools to explain designs to clients. I have used it to sell woodworking articles to national magazines more than once. And you get material cut lists and cut layouts automatically from the software, speeding estimating and ordering.

You can even export .dxf files to your CAM software and run them on the CNC.

No other software package in this price range has all of these features. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SketchList 3D?

I do not use Sketchlist for basic 2D renderings and .dxf files that I would use for making templates or drill partterns, DeltaCad is quicker and easier for that, but for building multi-part pieces, I use Sketchlist. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy to use for cabinet design "
5/5
What do you like best about SketchList 3D?

Sometimes rather than trying to work things out in the field, it is easier to problem solve on the computer and detect any clashes using software like SketchList 3D Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SketchList 3D?

This makes my computer run very hard, to the point of crashing the program sometimes. I use large software packages like AutoCAD, Bluebeam and Revit, but sometimes SketchList can use up a little bit too much bandwidth in comparison. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
