The software is robust - Siteimprove is known for ADA compliance, but we primarily rely on it for analytics. It's feature-rich and makes it easy for us to get a ton of useful information about our website and digital campaigns. We've also found value in the quality assurance feature that alerts us automatically to broken links, misspellings, etc. It also analyzes our site for performance, which has helped us as we work with our developers to improve our site speed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Siteimprove? Because it is so feature-rich, it can be a little difficult to learn at first. There's just a ton of tools and information available, so it can be intimidating. They have been frequently changing the interface and features, removing functionality we relied on with zero consolation. The service levels have decreased over the years. When started our account manager was on top of things and helped a lot. Now the account manager is much more disengaged and is less willing to help. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. Recommendations to others considering Siteimprove: If you're using a "free" analytics system, you're doing it wrong. Siteimprove is well worth the cost for the features and support they provide. I wish there was a way to have it scan a page that has been authored in AEM, but which is not published yet. This would allow us to proactively address any flaws prior to publication. A good automated tool but could be much better. The link and spelling checkers are very useful and the support is always good. The webinars they do are always informative. The software can also be extremely slow and sometimes just stop functioning. This was very good software at one point but recent changes have made it more difficult to use efficiently. The customization of the crawler and the add-ons for SEO and their Academy make Siteimprove a ideal all-in-one solution. Creating custom dashboards is easy and feature rich. Great customer support. Overall, it's ideal for a single organization with only one large website. Has a integration with Sitecore. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Siteimprove? The interface is overly complicated, especially navigating from site to site and section to section. It simply isn't clear what you are looking at. Overall the UI is clunky and needs an overhaul. Dashboards are the most powerful feature and easy to work worth. The downside is that they do not easily translate into custom reports that are manageable from their reporting section. The platform currently relies on tags for a lot of data management and it's not sustainable. If Siteimprove was to take their "content group" functionality and allow that to group websites, it would make life easier. Scale is my biggest challenge with Siteimprove. If you have 20 websites all on the same template or theme, there is no way to consolidate the common issues shared by a particular theme or template. For large organizations like mine, it's just not a suitable solution. Siteimprove also lacks the ability to ingest customer data via a FTP file drop or an API. So as my customers data changes, there is now way to dynamically update that with Siteimprove. My team has to manually make updates to tags. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. Recommendations to others considering Siteimprove: Be wary of their sales team over promising features or enhancements. After my organization signed, the "enhancements" have no ETA. Siteimprove is currently assisting my organization in solving WCAG compliance issues on our websites managed by various vendors. As for the benefits, that is still TBD.
