## SiteGround Reviews
  ### 1. Hosting with reliable uptime

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Education Management | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 28, 2021

**What do you like best about SiteGround?**

What siteground makes them different from others is their uptime and support. I am using it for about two years but have not found any problem regarding uptime and support.

**What do you dislike about SiteGround?**

Renew plans are very high. I have not seen any performance difference on mid-tier and higher plans.

**What problems is SiteGround solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use it for hosting my couple of sites

  ### 2. Great hosting with add ons

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Richard M. | Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 05, 2019

**What do you like best about SiteGround?**

They offer free add ons like CDN, SSL, security and speed settings for your hosting. Customer service is quick and helpful. They now offer a simplified interface instead of just cpanel. This makes getting settings set or changed easier and more intuitive for the non-cpanel expert. This also protects websites as they are not all tied together in one cpanel - so if one site gets infected, they all do not get infected. The speed with or without the CDN is good. Better with the CDN.

**What do you dislike about SiteGround?**

Inodes are restricted, limiting the number of sites you can put on 1 hosting account.

**Recommendations to others considering SiteGround:**

Open up an account and give it a try with a few websites. You get free SSL, security and speed features that make it worth trying.

**What problems is SiteGround solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Can host and control several websites with one hosting package very easily. The benefits are one step access to many features that others charge for or you need seperate account for.

  ### 3. Prices keep increasing every year for a service that is getting worse

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Design | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 29, 2021

**What do you like best about SiteGround?**

Servers are reliable, for the most part.

**What do you dislike about SiteGround?**

Increasing prices and poor customer service

**Recommendations to others considering SiteGround:**

Don't bother - there are cheaper and better solutions available

**What problems is SiteGround solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hosting. Not sure I've seen any benefits.

  ### 4. Best hosting and outstanding support

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Aiesha D. | Graphic Designer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 03, 2019

**What do you like best about SiteGround?**

Tech support is phenomenal. Fast, friendly, thorough, very knowledgeable. Very reliable hosting.

**What do you dislike about SiteGround?**

After the promotional price, hosting services prices jump up a fair bit and are not easily negotiable.

**What problems is SiteGround solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ability to run several websites from one hosting company seamlessly.

  ### 5. Robust Services, Great Price, Expert Customer Service

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mark M. | Co-Founder, Innovation & Organizational Strategy, Design, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 06, 2020

**What do you like best about SiteGround?**

I don't think I have ever waited more than a minute or so to get on chat with tech support. The tech support doesn't just advise you, most times they go into your backend and fix the issue themselves. My other favorite things are free ssl, affordable pricing, and hosting a bunch of websites for the price of one.

**What do you dislike about SiteGround?**

I would like it to be easier to have a reseller account where your client can use it as a payment gateway. They do have a reseller account, but I think you need to bill independently.

**What problems is SiteGround solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I love hosting multiple websites for one fee. Since the pricing is based on server specs, I can put many websites on one account.

  ### 6. Well balanced quality hosting

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Paper & Forest Products | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 17, 2021

**What do you like best about SiteGround?**

A healthy performance and quality hosting with low-cost packages, includes free SSL and Control Panel.

**What do you dislike about SiteGround?**

VPS options and Windows hosting. (ASP ASP.NET etc.)

**What problems is SiteGround solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Best for Wordpress websites easily connected with mySQL and includes a free SSL

  ### 7. When WordPress recommended this I should have listened from the beginning of my courier

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Noh B. | Creative Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 31, 2020

**What do you like best about SiteGround?**

The power under SiteGround. The per-site visitor limitations might be deterring but come on....if you do get a million monthly visitors you making a load of money and should go for there cloud hosting plans. Did I mention the support? Like is the company a real company for real? The staff is so knowledgable, promote, and eager to help.

**What do you dislike about SiteGround?**

I do not like the whole pay double after a year model. I did not signup knowing that part. I understand they need to make money but wish they stated that fact from the begging on their price plan page.

**Recommendations to others considering SiteGround:**

Minus the price hike when you renew your payment, Site ground does offer a lot of value with their advanced tools + super fast speed + the superb support. To be honest they do have some bundled third-party tools that are quite expensive on there own so the costs do add up.

**What problems is SiteGround solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Used a much cheaper web hosting provider....and it was a headache.....site crashes a lot . Switched over to site ground and I finally realised what paying a premium gets you. Hosting on SiteGround feels like hosting a site locally. It is soooooo fast. Even when I am in Africa. I am sooo excited about my switch.

Did I also mention the amazing premium tools they have for boosting your site?

  ### 8. Looking for a new hosting service

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cynthia O. | owner

**Reviewed Date:** May 05, 2021

**What do you like best about SiteGround?**

Customer service, free SSL, WP starter, SG Optimizer plug-in.

**What do you dislike about SiteGround?**

I started at a very good price. Come renewal, price rate increased by 400%. My hosting will expire in 3 months and it skyrocketed 10 times.

**What problems is SiteGround solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I haven't really used it that much, because my website is still under construction. No time to finish it.

  ### 9. I used to love it

**Rating:** 0.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Megan B. | CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 20, 2020

**What do you like best about SiteGround?**

The price isn't the most expensive in the market, the site tools interface looks nice.

**What do you dislike about SiteGround?**

I loved Siteground at the beginning, and would be the first to recommend them. I stayed with SiteGround through price increases because of their amazing customer service. They helped with any issue and if I had a problem, I knew I wouldn't have to worry.

Now, their live chat feature can be turned on and off for users at their whim depending on past questions or issues. Recently, when my sites went down, I could not contact any one immediately because they had decided live chat was unavailable for me at that time.

My sites have gotten progressively slower even though I've upgraded service, and I encounter 503 service unavailable errors constantly. These errors pop up so much now that is affecting my sites' SEO.

They're just gotten rid of the Cpanel, and their Site Tools is now limited. I was not made aware that there would be changes with the SSL settings once Cpanel switched to their in-house site tools. Now all of the sites are experiencing SSL issues.

Will be switching at the end of this month because I don't believe the service is worth the price anymore.

**Recommendations to others considering SiteGround:**

Siteground may be a good solution for those that only need to host one or two sites and have a good technical background. Don't depend on them for customer service. If you are looking for Cpanel, they no longer provide that.

**What problems is SiteGround solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Site and wordpress managed hosting

  ### 10. An amazing Web-Hosting Company

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andrea A. | Engineering Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 30, 2020

**What do you like best about SiteGround?**

It provides you a 30-day cash-back guarantee. It assists you with daily automatic backups & restores with Automatic WordPress installation. It gives you the organized WordPress hosting on every plan. It has inventive speed technologies (PHP7, SSD, NGINX + more). Free of charge SSL certificate & Cloudflare CDNAnother straight advantage is that it has a very speedy server response period. The server response time is a calculation of how time-consuming it is for the server to transport all of the rudiments of your website to users, browsers.

**What do you dislike about SiteGround?**

One of the main negative points for SiteGround is its limited storage disk space which could make it difficult for users to manage storage. They are not much good when in the case of technical difficulties. It has limited data storage that may cause user’s data to be lost or the user has to put manual efforts to save data on other servers which may cost him time. Another big deal is that this software has no unlimited subscription.

**Recommendations to others considering SiteGround:**

Highly recommended, It has inventive speed technologies (PHP7, SSD, NGINX + more). Free of charge SSL certificate & Cloudflare CDNAnother straight advantage is that it has a very speedy server response period.

**What problems is SiteGround solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Fast speeds and loads of additional features that are ideal for both beginners and professional users make SiteGround an admirable web host. SiteGround has put a fresh industry standard when it comes to high-performance collective hosting and WordPress hosting services. at the same time as they get compressed on price and add-on bonuses by competitors like Bluehost, SiteGround does a great deal better when it comes to performance, speed, security, and core hosting options. If the site speed rate and safety matter are more to you, then you should pay more and use SiteGround.

**Reviewed Date:** June 11, 2021

**What do you like best about SiteGround?**

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jeremy C. | Web Designer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 26, 2020

**What do you like best about SiteGround?**

SiteGround uses the latest technology and has an amazing support team who is there to help 24/7.

**What do you dislike about SiteGround?**

The price is a bit high. They are switching to their own in-house hosting management control panel, which looks amazing, but they have been really slow at rolling it out to their existing clients. I've been waiting for over a year.

**Recommendations to others considering SiteGround:**

SiteGround delivers the best performance and support for your website. The expensive price tag is definitely worth the level of service you receive.

**What problems is SiteGround solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SiteGround is quick to load my websites to the world and has had little to now downtime over the past 2 years that I've been using them. I host all of my web design clients with them and have seen great results.

**Reviewed by:** Daniel T. | Website Designer & Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**What do you like best about SiteGround?**

The UX is easy to understand, the pricing is competitive, and the speeds are blazing fast compared to other hosts.

**What do you dislike about SiteGround?**

There's nothing I'm aware of here. The software is great!

**Recommendations to others considering SiteGround:**

If you need hosting for low bandwidth websites, it's amazing. You'll see an amazing lift in speed for a small marginal increase in cost.

**What problems is SiteGround solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I transferred hosting from another provided to SiteGround. What an AMAZING difference with customer support, ease of use layout, great customer support, and competitive pricing.

  ### 15. SiteGround hosting provides security to our WordPress websites

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Matt D. | IT Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 09, 2020

**What do you like best about SiteGround?**

SiteGround is a low cost but secure hosting for WordPress enabled websites. It provides easy navigation through eh CPanel interface to manage websites files and the databases. SiteGournd Backup and restore service has been very useful to us at crucial times.

**What do you dislike about SiteGround?**

We are satisfied with the hosting provided by SiteGound for the websites yet. Its easy to use service to manage a website hosing. FTP can be created and new subdomains are aded easily from the SiteGround control panel.

**Recommendations to others considering SiteGround:**

SiteGround is an easy to use host to manage PHP enabled and WordPress enabled websites. Its easy to use and can be managed well by anyone with less technical skills.

**What problems is SiteGround solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are hosting our company website as well as a few client websites on our SiteGround hosting account. We have seen the websites never go down and stay secure always.

  ### 16. this company is scammer

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 09, 2020

**What do you like best about SiteGround?**

nothing special about this company and they provide the same services as others

**What do you dislike about SiteGround?**

This company is scammer and they charge you far more than what they show on their price plans for hosting

**Recommendations to others considering SiteGround:**

Consider this services as the last option as they are scammers

**What problems is SiteGround solving and how is that benefiting you?**

the price will change without any notice and they claim their prices on the hosting plans is promotion prices without any notice

  ### 17. Great for Wordpress Hosting

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sarah M. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 23, 2020

**What do you like best about SiteGround?**

Siteground customer service is top notch. Every time I have had an issue they have fixed it right away and worked with me to get my site operating the way I expect it to.

**What do you dislike about SiteGround?**

If you have a site with high traffic Siteground might not be the best for speed purposes. However, a site with traffic under 100,000 visitors per month will likely have no problems with the speed.

**Recommendations to others considering SiteGround:**

If you are a beginning blogger using Wordpress Siteground is a great option for you.

**What problems is SiteGround solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Their hosting is affordable and does exactly what I expect it to do.

  ### 18. SiteGround has everything I need for several websites I host

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Yvonne F. | Content Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 09, 2019

**What do you like best about SiteGround?**

The pricing for most of the plans are better than many of the popular web hosting solutions with similar features such as GoDaddy and Bluehost. The technical support staff at SiteGround has been helpful when it comes to installing new WordPress websites or having database connection problems. Many other web hosts won't bother with helping me with those type of issues since they're considered to be coding and development issues that is the responsibility of the account holder.

**What do you dislike about SiteGround?**

It's mostly been all smiles and sunshine with SiteGround. The cost effectiveness and quality of the service from both the web server and support team has been excellent. I can't pick out anything to dislike.

**Recommendations to others considering SiteGround:**

You should try SiteGround to get a noticeable difference in performance compared to many more popular web hosting services. The migration isn't as difficult as it might seem. SiteGround has detailed instructions on how to get that done.

**What problems is SiteGround solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our websites and landing pages are primarily hosted on SiteGround. We use the shared hosting plan and can get superb web page loading times that are far better than the industry standard. Even compared to higher priced plans at other hosting companies, our SiteGround hosting plan has exceeded performance expectations. Our website visitors get an optimal web viewing experience.

  ### 19. The best hosting if you live in Canada!! :) especially for .ca extension

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Helena B. | Office Administrator, Non-Profit Organization Management, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 19, 2019

**What do you like best about SiteGround?**

I love that they have an amazing customer service, they also offer a variety of extensions, their pricing is good as well. The way they helped me every time I had an issue with something was amazing. Their staff really knows what they are doing and are extremely knowledgable and helpful

**What do you dislike about SiteGround?**

I dislike that they might not tell you all the prices up front, there were few things I regret I didn't look into better to expect what exact price I will going to pay. It can be a little confusing.

**Recommendations to others considering SiteGround:**

If you are from Canada and have .ca extension this is the best provider you can go with. I have heard of WPX being very good but they don't have the .ca extension and also their server doesn't reach to Canada so well. Go for this provider and you will not regret. I have been very satisfied with them.

**What problems is SiteGround solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am using them as my hosting provider for my wordpress site, the benefits are that my site loads fast and if I ever have issues with anything they are very quick to solve them

  ### 20. Siteground performs exceptionally well for the price

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Aiden P. | Web Producer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 10, 2019

**What do you like best about SiteGround?**

The features in Siteground are fairly standard to what most hosting packages offer except the page loads are usually much faster. It's also very simple to work my way around the Siteground dashboard. What makes Siteground really stand apart is how well the hosting plans perform with dynamically loaded pages like those in WordPress. I think that the pricing is very good when we consider how fast our pages load. The customer support is also very helpful and is usually easy to get a hold of through phone or email.

**What do you dislike about SiteGround?**

Siteground is not the most well-suited hosting platform for those that are not familiar with web development on at least a moderate level. I think that there aren't as many built-in web design tools that allow users to post template-based websites and make edits within the hosting platform itself.

**Recommendations to others considering SiteGround:**

I think the main reason you should go with Siteground is the value you get for the high performance and WordPress compatibility of Siteground. It might be complicated to use for those that aren't familiar with managing website files, but if you can manage to get your site on to it, Siteground should perform extremely well compared to other basic hosting plans.

**What problems is SiteGround solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I think the main benefit that we've gotten out of Siteground is the ability to quickly import our WordPress websites and plugins into it from other web hosts or local installs. They also have very fast loading speeds compared to industry standards and pricing. With all of the different dynamically generated pages in WordPress, we can usually get good loading speeds even without creating cashed HTML files.

  ### 21. They've Fallen Far

**Rating:** 1.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 07, 2020

**What do you like best about SiteGround?**

Reasonably Cheap Prices, helpful support staff (if you can get ahold of them.

**What do you dislike about SiteGround?**

When I first joined Siteground in 2013, I was a loyal customer - you could say an evangelist. Any issue you had they would bend over backward to assist you - particularly through online chat. Now, online chat is something reserved for extremely rare/hard cases and sales...the one thing that separated Siteground from a Blue Host - was their exceptional customer service. It no longer exists.

**What problems is SiteGround solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hosted a WordPress site. No benefits that other competitors don't solve.

  ### 22. Amazing support with exceptional hosting services

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Umar F. | Co-Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 14, 2019

**What do you like best about SiteGround?**

Their support. I have had issues with their services but they were quick enough to resolve most of the problems. Even if it was something that wasn't solvable immediately, I was either kept informed or made aware of the steps taken to resolve the matter.

**What do you dislike about SiteGround?**

Their cPanel dashboard could be more user-friendly and have a more straight-forward approach to solving migration issues. I've signed up for their managed hosting but in essence, I have to go through a series of steps to install a new website when it could easily be duplicated. I'm particularly referring to WordPress.

**What problems is SiteGround solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hosting. Previously, I had issues with the page loading speed for websites both personal ones and ones that I develop for my clients. But with their support, I feel like I'm in safe hands.

  ### 23. A diamond in a haystack of good value web hosts

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** William N. | Marketing Associate, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 04, 2019

**What do you like best about SiteGround?**

The value of what we get a SiteGround for the monthly fee is very good. We get all the tools we need to run many different types of websites. We can use several different CMS applications, like WordPress, or host basic HTML pages, which are great for quick landing pages. The speed of the page loads is among the best I've ever seen at this price point. SiteGround has a good reputation and isn't some super new unknown company. I like that there are reviews from experienced professionals out there. It gives me more confidence in using them.

**What do you dislike about SiteGround?**

For people that lack basic web programming and design skills, this isn't the easiest platform to use. SiteGround doesn't have the simplicity that some web builder companies have. Companies like Wix and Squarespace provide more backend tools that allow the user to worry more about the basic design and not as much about web pages structures and databases.

**Recommendations to others considering SiteGround:**

If you have basic web programming skills, or at least an understanding of CMS applications, I think SiteGround is a good web host that can provide any company with great value and performance. I think I could recommend it for more standard website builds.

**What problems is SiteGround solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SiteGround has served as an open-ended web hosting account that we can use to post content of all kinds. We can post marketing graphics, submit forms, documents and full web sites. SiteGround has been a very good value and versatile enough to fit most of our online media needs. We can add several FTP accounts to our SiteGround account so that multiple users can manage our hosted files. We don't have to dedicate one person to take care of our web media management.

  ### 24. A more advanced hosting solution than many popular hosting companies out there

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ling C. | Content Marketing Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 16, 2019

**What do you like best about SiteGround?**

SiteGround has a full set of account management tools that let us create and manage databases and install a variety of content management applications. We can also manage files and other account related configurations. The server speeds SiteGround are excellent. That's the thing that drew our attention to it and they totally lived up to the expectations.

**What do you dislike about SiteGround?**

Working with websites with SiteGround requires a more advanced background in website management compared to web builder systems. There is more to keep track of, develop and maintain since all of the web page design elements are done in an editing system that is separate from SiteGround's hosting service. SiteGround often avoids advising us on website coding issues.

**Recommendations to others considering SiteGround:**

For the fees spent, SiteGround is an excellent value for the features and performance you receive. Before migrating your website to SiteGround, I'd recommend running your existing website through an speed tracking website to see how well it runs before the migration.

**What problems is SiteGround solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We can get a solid hosting package at SiteGround this low in cost and fast in page loading speeds. We have all account management tools to ensure we can customize our website installations to exacting specifications. We can also add email addresses and connect via FTP clients to make quick uploads to and downloads from our web server. We use our SiteGround websites as a front line for outreach, so it's important we have a reliable web host like SiteGround that keep our website consistently online and loading quickly for visitors.

  ### 25. Web hosting for all needs

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about SiteGround?**

It is a simple system to register new users, just with an email and choose a password and voila, it is intuitive and you will not find yourself lost in its pages, its support team is fast and pleasant, have solutions immediately, with assistance 24 hours, 7 days a week, a very good tool, that's why I like it.

**What do you dislike about SiteGround?**

A very good tool, the only drawback is its prices that have risen a lot.

**Recommendations to others considering SiteGround:**

It has three packages, I recommend choosing the one that best suits your needs, it is easy and intuitive with great loading speed and they have a good support, a good tool that you should take into account for your web hosting.

**What problems is SiteGround solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SiteGround helped us build the best website, we can also manage it more easily, thanks to this tool the performance of my website has increased.

  ### 26. Siteground is the most solid, feature-packed and stable web host I've used

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michael M. | Owner, Graphic Design, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 11, 2019

**What do you like best about SiteGround?**

Siteground's support is incredible and fast. They must have won some awards for it i'm sure. The speed boost my sites have received once moved to their environment has been incredible and makes a difference in load times which impact every aspect of my business.

**What do you dislike about SiteGround?**

The Cpanel is a bit old school looking which isn't a bad thing, but could be modernized/made more user friendly for novices who host on their own.

**Recommendations to others considering SiteGround:**

They have great support and have been a huge help for even someone with a ton of experience. The price is high but the speed boost you'll receive along with the stellar support makes ALL of the difference.

**What problems is SiteGround solving and how is that benefiting you?**

the speed boosts and optimizations have allowed me to upsell hosting to clients.

  ### 27. The speed of SiteGround and the low prices are outstanding

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Miriam H. | Digital Content Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 31, 2019

**What do you like best about SiteGround?**

The main reason we went with SiteGround was the reports of higher web server speeds. Whether that is due to fewer accounts on each server or just the quality of the servers and server software, our websites usually do run faster. We can create our websites with WordPress and have them load just as fast as basic HTML files in some cases. The account features are easy to access and use in general. The pricing for most of the hosting plans are competitive with some of the bigger hosting brands.

**What do you dislike about SiteGround?**

I can't really say I've been displeased much about SiteGround's performance so far. However, for users that are very new to web design and hosting, SiteGround isn't the best solution when it comes to web builders with all-in-one type of website creation and management tools. We usually can't have people with little or no experience managing our website settings or posting new content.

**Recommendations to others considering SiteGround:**

I recommend using SiteGround particularly for WordPress websites. You don't need to have a specialized WordPress plan since WordPress can run very well on a standard hosting plan. Be sure you have a decent amount of experience using WordPress since it's not the easiest platform to manage for beginners.

**What problems is SiteGround solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We can have our websites load within seconds through SiteGround. The same pages might load three times longer or more with other web hosting companies that have similarly-priced plans. We have had few issues with any pages being down. If there were pages that were down, they were likely caused by software update issues and probably not the SiteGround servers.

  ### 28. New user unbiased review

**Reviewed by:** Jennifer L. | Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 19, 2019

**What do you like best about SiteGround?**

Siteground is super user friendly. The interface is nice to navigate through and I can figure out exactly where I need to go on their menu. The entire experience is fun actually.

**What do you dislike about SiteGround?**

The price is higher than my previous hosting but you do get a lot for the money and although it’s priced higher it’s still not unaffordable, in my opinion.

**Recommendations to others considering SiteGround:**

Great host and I highly recommend it. Great experience and lots of cool features and perks that you’ll enjoy.

**What problems is SiteGround solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I need reliable fast hosting with an ssl certificate so that’s how Siteground is helping me. I’ve tried many hosts and my experience with Siteground so far has been the best.

  ### 29. The experience I had with Siteground

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Luis Enrique S. | Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 24, 2019

**What do you like best about SiteGround?**

In addition to the excellent quality of service, fast and secure servers, make many training videos, not only for the proper administration of the hosting service, but to get better performance on websites.

**What do you dislike about SiteGround?**

What I liked the least, and in fact for that reason I changed supplier, is that they recently increased their rates, in my opinion, too high. One of the reasons why I purchased the service with them was precisely because of their very competitive price.

**Recommendations to others considering SiteGround:**

They offer very good service and their servers are very safe and fast, but you can get similar services at a better price.

**What problems is SiteGround solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For a year I had my websites hosted with them, during which time they did not present any availability or security flaws.

  ### 30. A high-performance network host that provides you with great value for money

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shawn S. | Writer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 29, 2019

**What do you like best about SiteGround?**

SiteGround has a relatively low price, and shared hosting packages have excellent performance. Most web pages load time, even web pages with many large scripts and dynamic code, are very fast and usually get high scores in web performance tests. The control panel in the SiteGround account is designed to be simple. For those with basic experience with web hosting tools, SiteGround's web hosting account is easy to manage. Our web hosting account has key features such as MySQL database, email management, FTP account, file manager and account status information. We have gained a lot of bandwidth and storage space, far beyond our hosting needs.

**What do you dislike about SiteGround?**

There is nothing special about it. I really don't like SiteGround. If I have to pick it up, then I will say that their price is still a little higher than other similar hosting companies I have seen. If you are looking for an absolute minimum price, then SiteGround may not be the lowest price. I have not noticed as many promotional offers as some other web hosting companies

**Recommendations to others considering SiteGround:**

For companies that use content management systems, SiteGround can be a super network host that can provide you with the best performance at a low price. You can register and pay monthly or yearly. So if you just want to try it out, then the monthly plan will be very cost effective. Because domain traffic can be down, it's best not to test the company's primary domain name and use the test domain.

**What problems is SiteGround solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use SiteGround to host a variety of marketing materials and business related documents. Our SiteGround account is common internally and can share documents and post information about our services and company news to customers and prospects. Using SiteGround is generally very enjoyable. Whenever we encounter technical problems, they are easy to master and often knowledgeable, at least providing some quality insight into our problems. They are often able to solve our problems completely. The price of SiteGround is perfect for minimizing our expenses.

  ### 31. Super fast page loading and relatively low cost

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cara L. | Reporter, Producer and Editor, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 29, 2019

**What do you like best about SiteGround?**

The main reason I use SiteGround is to effectively host WordPress sites and have a fast page load speed. Although I don't fully understand the underlying technology behind it, SiteGround has a hosted environment that is well suited to the various needs that WordPress relies on. Databases, PHP software and other back-end managed components are mostly top-level. The control panel is simple to use and gives me management flexibility. I also get valuable insights into page performance and other analysis.

**What do you dislike about SiteGround?**

Except for the WordPress installation, I don't use SiteGround, I don't have hosting emails, register domain names or have any other common services related to web hosting. If you're looking for a variety of hosting providers that offer a full range of service and support team members, then SiteGround may not be ideal.

**Recommendations to others considering SiteGround:**

While many people may see switching network hosts as a hassle, in general, if your site is slow, moving to SiteGround is worthwhile. Shared hosting, especially at hosting companies with many customers, is a tough thing to improve with basic page reorganization and file compression. Migrating to SiteGround may be a better solution.

**What problems is SiteGround solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The hosting of SiteGround allows me to increase the page load speed of WordPress sites with minimal cost and effort. Visitor feedback is positive, and more people tend to stay longer on many web pages. They also tend to engage in more interaction by watching videos, viewing photo galleries, and registering through our contact and online registration forms.

Great WordPress tools along with a huge list of features.

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Automotive | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 24, 2019

**What do you like best about SiteGround?**

The thing I like the most is how easy it is to set up your site and they will keep your WordPress site up to date when updates come out for Wordpress.

**What do you dislike about SiteGround?**

The customer service is feast or famine. Tech support is really good. When I wanted to change hosts and need to get a refund this is when it went wrong. You can call the 1800 number, the problem is you can not talk to a supervisor on the phone to get a higher level of support. I was trying to get my refund and they kept saying wait 24-48 HR. I would call back and then the same this went on for like 2 weeks and then finally was able to get my refund.

**Recommendations to others considering SiteGround:**

Provide better customer support.

  ### 35. Super Fast Page Loads and Relatively Low Fees

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Hugh J. | Producer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 08, 2019

**What do you like best about SiteGround?**

The main reason I use SiteGround is to host WordPress websites efficiently and with fast page loading speeds. Though I don't fully understand the underlying technicalities behind it, SiteGround has an hosting environment that works well with the assortment of needs WordPress relies on. The databases, PHP software and other backend hosting components are mostly all in top form. The control panel is simple to use and provide me with management flexibility. I can also get valuable insight into page performance and other analytics.

**What do you dislike about SiteGround?**

I don't use SiteGround for much else other than the WordPress installs, I don't host email, register domains or have any other common services related to web hosting. If you're looking for an all-in-one type of hosting provider that is well-rounded with a vast array of services and support team members, then SiteGround might not be ideal.

**Recommendations to others considering SiteGround:**

Though many might see switch web hosts as a hassle, which it often is, it can be worth it to move to SiteGround if you have a slow loading website. Shared hosting, especially at hosting companies with many customers, can be a tough thing to improve through basic page restructuring and file compression. Moving to SiteGround might be the better solution.

**What problems is SiteGround solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SiteGround's hosting has allowed me to boost page loading speeds on my WordPress websites with minimal cost and effort. Visitor feedback has been positive and more people tend to stay longer on many web pages. They also tend to interact more through watching videos, viewing photo galleries and signing up through our contact and online registration forms.

  ### 36. Still my most-recommended hosting company for most of my clients

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rick P. | Film Critic, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 21, 2019

**What do you like best about SiteGround?**

As is reported pretty much everywhere, SiteGround customer support is second-to-none. Their techs have been trained to offer the perfect balance between friendliness and professionalism. It's always a reassuring experience talking to support. I know of no other company that does it so well.

But of course, customer support would be meaningless without speed and stability. SiteGround had some issues with uptime round about 2016 but now all my clients' sites report 100% uptime, exceeding expectations.

**What do you dislike about SiteGround?**

I'm tired of cpanel. I much prefer the custom solutions coming out of up and coming companies like Cloudways.

Speaking of which, Cloudways is less expensive for less demanding sites and yet offers staging environments, something that SiteGround charges a premium for.

I also don't like the hoops I have to jump through just to develop a site without a domain already hooked up. I mean, come on. On Cloudways, it's easy as pie, as is pretty much everything else.

**Recommendations to others considering SiteGround:**

If next-generation control panels are important to you, or if you need a staging environment, or an integrated cache plan, maybe you should consider Cloudways, which offers good value for the money. SiteGround, however, is still the leader in stability and customer support for WordPress managed hosting.

**What problems is SiteGround solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I need to offer a low-cost, super stable solution for entry-level WordPress clients. SiteGround is still my go-to for these clients.

  ### 37. Very slow - too much down time

**What do you dislike about SiteGround?**

**Recommendations to others considering SiteGround:**

Not great customer support - the same problems keep occurring with no real fix

**What problems is SiteGround solving and how is that benefiting you?**

  ### 38. High quality web service at a good price.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Automotive | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 29, 2019

**What do you like best about SiteGround?**

SiteGround is a web hosting company that offers completely reliable servers and offers free migrations to GrowBig and GoGeek users. SiteGround inspires confidence when pages like WordPress.org and Drupal.org recommend it, offers good plans to new users, the server uses the web with advanced server speed technologies (SSD, HTTP / 2, integrated Cacher, NGINX and more ). It has a customer service team that perfectly fulfills its task. It gives you speed for our web pages no matter how big the scripts or dynamic codes are, SiteGround also offers an easy-to-use control panel with management flexibility and keeps you informed about the performance of your page with a completely updated system.

**What do you dislike about SiteGround?**

I do not have anything in particular that I do not like about SiteGround, but I have to be a strong person with criticism. Siteground does not offer as many offers to its users unlike other similar applications that offer more advanced services, so its costs are relatively high.

**Recommendations to others considering SiteGround:**

SiteGround has high prices, but it makes up for it with its quality accommodation with good performance, it has particular characteristics that make it stand out from its competition, it is reliable, flexible and with a customer service that is always attentive to your case.

**What problems is SiteGround solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I like to use SiteGround in my company to store any kind of valuable document about marketing and advertising that is beneficial for our company, SiteGround fulfills its purpose in a clean and very fast way, something that differentiates it from other applications, sometimes I have had some problem, I communicate with the customer service and they have treated me well and resolved my cases. With Siteground you will no longer have problems with Hosting, since they offer you a good service here. It is good to associate it with WordPress to obtain a maximum performance of both.

  ### 39. A high-performance web host that offers great value for your money

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Derrick H. | Marketing Consultant, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 14, 2019

**What do you like best about SiteGround?**

SiteGround has relatively low prices for shared hosting packages with excellent performance. The loading times for most all of our web pages, even ones with many large scripts and dynamic code, are very fast and typically get high scores in web page performance tests. The control panel in our SiteGround account has a clean design. For people that have basic experience with web hosting tools, SiteGround's web hosting account is easy to use to manage. Our web hosting account has key features such as MySQL databases, email management, FTP accounts, a file manager and account status information. We get a good amount of bandwidth and storage space that is far more than sufficient for our hosting needs.

**What do you dislike about SiteGround?**

There isn't anything in particular I dislike very much about SiteGround. If I had to be picky about it, then I'd say that their prices are still a bit higher than some other similar hosting companies I've seen. If you're looking for the absolute lowest prices, then SiteGround is probably not the lowest. I also didn't notice as many promotional deals as some other web hosting companies.

**Recommendations to others considering SiteGround:**

For companies that use a content management system, SiteGround can be a super web host that gives you optimal performance for generally low prices. You can sign up and pay monthly or annually. So if you just want to try them out, a month-to-month plan would be quite cost-effective. Since there can be downtime when it comes domain propagation, it's probably best to not test your company's main domain name and use a test domain instead.

**What problems is SiteGround solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use SiteGround to host a wide array of marketing materials and business-related files. Our SiteGround account has been a versatile internally for sharing documents and posting information about our services and company news to clients and leads. Working with SiteGround has generally been smooth and pleasant. Whenever we've had technical issues, they've been easy to get a hold of and are usually knowledgeable enough to at least provide some quality insight into our problems. They have often been able to solve our problems outright though. SiteGround's prices have been great for keeping our expenses to a minimum.

**What do you like best about SiteGround?**

Well, I am a 5+ loyal customer to them, I failed tons of times hosting my websites (in the past) before I found them by reading their review on some of the review hubs.

**What do you dislike about SiteGround?**

For real? Nothing at all, they are awesome, cannot find anything bad at all.

**Recommendations to others considering SiteGround:**

Try them with no questions to ask. you'll get everything you need! even when others fail to give you a real support and tell you please hire a developer, they can investigate and help you from deep heart.

**What problems is SiteGround solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Well, as I stated before, I failed to run my business website(s) successfully online before due to bad hosting providers which I tried before I found SiteGround.

I always facing site down alerts
I always get money lost
I always get a bad online reputation due to a service cut.

Now, with SiteGround = Nothing of this anymore.
I get very fast hosting
I get reliable hardware (for heavy traffic and complex SQL queries).
I get 24/7/356 uptime server.

  ### 42. Very Good Value for Web Hosting

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Publishing | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 09, 2019

**What do you like best about SiteGround?**

My website load times with Siteground is much better than what I experienced with other web hosting providers. My plan has a lot of features, including unlimited website hosting at an affordable price.

**What do you dislike about SiteGround?**

The user interface could be improved. It takes several steps for me just to enter cPanel, which can be annoying. Also, the website migrator they provided messed up my website, which took me a couple of hours to resolve.

**What problems is SiteGround solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Siteground helps me to host my website while providing my visitors a good experience. I have not received any complaints from people regarding my website performance.

  ### 43. HORRIBLE! Too many hidden limits.

**What do you like best about SiteGround?**

Misleading unlimited bla bla. I had to upgrade my hosting service to the top tier within three months to GO Geek Plan which is supposed to be the most generous plan, and yet I kept running into "Node limits" "CPU overage limits" file count limits, traffic limits .... never ending! I even had to DELETE vital email accounts (I only had 8 on the server - no where near 'unlimited') to get things to work. Both my websites kept crashing and returning server 500 errors due to some limit or another. NON OF WHICH WAS MADE CLEAR when I forked out a full two year term for 380$. When I asked for a refund on more than a whole UNUSED year portion they flat out declined any refund. DON'T GO THERE. (And in case you are wondering I only have 2 magento websites with less than 100 visits a day and one wordpress website much less visited.)

  ### 44. Great support

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 30, 2019

**What do you like best about SiteGround?**

I have found the support to be excellent when working on launching a Wordpress site. The hosting is affordable and even offers you a staging environment with the right plan.

**What do you dislike about SiteGround?**

The UX to find support is well hidden. The FAQ section is good but when you get into account specifics it should be more obvious on where to click to actually begin a support chat.

**Recommendations to others considering SiteGround:**

Good solid service and quality support if you can find the right link.

**What problems is SiteGround solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Launching and managing Wordpress sites for clients. I have had good uptime and their caching system is good for my basic sites.

  ### 45. A shared hosting loaded with advanced tools .. on a global server network

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** obai s. | Administrator, E-Learning, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 12, 2017

**What do you like best about SiteGround?**

The Speed of my website has improved after migrating to site-ground.
Due to the fact that they have server locations in Europe, my website is now responding at much higher level to users from Africa and middle east.

I also love the fact the they provide advanced caching tools for the middle package of their shared hosting plan. Other hosting companies from the same class restrict the advanced caching features to the expensive high package plans only.

**What do you dislike about SiteGround?**

an important features like wordpress staging require an account upgrade. While the same feature was included in my previous hosting plan from the same class.

**Recommendations to others considering SiteGround:**

I would honestly recommend them specially if you are using WordPress. You would enjoy a fast website with advanced caching technologies for the price of the moderate shared hosting.

**What problems is SiteGround solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I was looking for a hosting company that had a data-center in gamester, to provide a faster website for my users in Egypt and Saudi Arabia. But i found that site ground even have a data center in Milan along side the Amsterdam one. Milan Data centers are closer to my area and thus provided better server response time.

  ### 46. Top Notch Service & Offerings

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sue C. | Small Business Consultant, Social Media Consultant, WordPress Website Designer & Consultant, Marketing and Advertising, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 26, 2018

**What do you like best about SiteGround?**

Excellent customer support. Fast, efficient, knowledgeable and helpful. Uses current versions of PHP. Offers free SSL certificate and automatic renewals. Offers free emails with all shared hosting plans. They make it easy to migrate sites to SiteGround with their free Site Migrator plugin.

**What do you dislike about SiteGround?**

The caching of sites can sometimes be frustrating when you are working on the backend of a site. It can mean having to login to the cpanel to clear the cache before you can see the change on the front-end. That said, the caching is a bonus for site visitors as it speeds up the loading of each website.

**Recommendations to others considering SiteGround:**

SiteGrounds is one of three website hosting companies recommended by WordPress. They are professional and helpful to deal with and their pricing is competitive. The features they offer, including free email, free SSL certificate, easy site migration, caching, etc. make them a strong choice for small business shared web hosting.

**What problems is SiteGround solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Their Site Migrator makes moving website hosting from other platforms to SiteGround simple and fast. Their phone or online support offers fast and knowledgeable assistance when needed.

  ### 47. I Loved Siteground...until full price kicked in...

**Rating:** 1.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alli R. | The One, Media Production, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 01, 2019

**What do you like best about SiteGround?**

Siteground provided a good and stable web hosting for my website. Consistent up time.

**What do you dislike about SiteGround?**

I initially went with Siteground because of the sign up promo deals they run are great. I was paying less than $50 a year for two years, and loved them. But after being a customer for 2 years...I went to renew, and the only option was at full price. $175 per year. Price jump, ok...inflation, whatever. But THAT much of an increase sent me into the depths of google searching for a new web host service. I ended up going with Interserver, and I must say, I get the same level of service as I did with Siteground. The difference is this, Interserver's price is $15 every 3 months. Not each month, $15 total for 3 months. SOLD! It was adios Siteground, and yes I was nervous there would a lesser quality to my website. I'm a musician, and don't need a tons of add ons when it comes to hosting my site, but I was nervous cuz...change. But let me tell ya folks, I notice zero difference. Both run off Cpanel & have similar interfaces. My website's up 100% of the times I check. Navigates fast & smooth...just A LOT cheaper than Siteground was trying to charge me after being with them for two years.

**Recommendations to others considering SiteGround:**

Reward customers than can stay with you, don't up the price to 150% more than what they've payed for two years.

**What problems is SiteGround solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Stable web hosting.

**What do you like best about SiteGround?**

I chose SiteGround as a host because of their 60% off start-up special. It was an affordable option that offered what I needed: reliable hosting, cPanel, Wordpress auto-installation, and an email address. When I had a billing issue, the staff was friendly and resolved it within reasonable time. It was pretty easy to set up with my domains and easy auto WP installer.

**What do you dislike about SiteGround?**

Navigating around my admin area isn't very intuitive and some of the tutorials are outdated. When I tried to look up how to do something on the Siteground site, the tutorial's platform wouldn't match the platform on my screen or it would direct me to a dead link.

**What problems is SiteGround solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Site hosting multiple websites for my businesses.

  ### 49. A fantastic, reliable host with extra bells and whistles for WordPress

**What do you like best about SiteGround?**

I have been using Siteground for many years now, and they have always impressed me. Top notch customer support that isn't outsourced overseas and not helpful. They always answer right away and you get to speak with experienced technical staff who understand WordPress and how to fix problems.

Also, SiteGround includes very advanced additional tools for WordPress sites. Fast caching, site boosters, one-click staging sites, backups, and more. I really like their WordPress tools and I use them for all of my main WordPress sites, as well as high traffic sites. Performance has never been an issue with their servers, especially on their cloud plans and dedicated server plans.

**What do you dislike about SiteGround?**

Nothing to dislike about this hosting company so far. I have only had a few instances where there has been minimal downtime, and I've been with them for many years. They also don't have discounts on some of their plans if you offer to pay upfront for a year or longer. Currently my cloud account is capped at 6-month renewal terms.

**Recommendations to others considering SiteGround:**

I would highly recommend Siteground to anyone looking for quality hosting, and willing to pay a higher price for better service and performance.

**What problems is SiteGround solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I heard about Siteground through a hosting review site as well as a trusted colleague of mine. I was currently using a competitor's service and was having issue with a large forum site that I ran that was very resource intensive (lots of mySQL queries, complex PHP scripts, etc). I needed cloud hosting with a reliable provider that has WordPress features without being a fully managed service because I prefer having full control over my server environment rather than getting a 'locked down' server with the managed hosting competitors out there. Also, I needed to run a non-WordPress PHP-based service. With SiteGround you get managed level support but with full control and CPanel control panel. They migrated my big non-WordPress forum site, as well as all my WordPress sites over to my new SiteGround account free of charge, and the transition was flawless. I can't recommend them enough!

**What do you like best about SiteGround?**

Siteground was the first hosting company I have used, they have an extremely easy control panel area, you can do most of your work with that, it supports multiple platforms like wordpress and joomla etc.

**What do you dislike about SiteGround?**

I was really disappointed by the support. There was a time I was working on my wordpress website and it broke down, I created a ticket, which also took me a while to learn the way of doing it, they replied after 45 minutes. It was a terrible experience. I wish if there was some live chat option to cater all the needs of a user.

**What problems is SiteGround solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I used SiteGround hosting to host my website
