The hosting performance is fast, the dashboard is easy to use, and setting up websites is straightforward even for someone without deep technical knowledge. Their customer support has also been consistently helpful whenever I've had questions or needed assistance, which makes managing websites much less stressful. The biggest drawback for me is that the renewal price is noticeably higher than the introductory rate, which can make the long-term cost feel a bit expensive. Also, some of the more advanced features are restricted on the lower-tier plans, so as your website grows you may end up needing to upgrade sooner than you expected. They’re one of the few hosts left that will actually help you when you get stuck, without pushing upsells. The first year cost is obviously low but year two startles people because it is such a jump! Many people offer trial amounts, but that is for 2-3 months. SiteGround provides a one-stop interface for managing multiple domains and websites easily at the admin level, with easy-to-use tools. Performance is great and there are a great many integrations available. At some point, I plan to use their AI tools to set up a blog of some sort. It's difficult to find where to get help when it's clear that their AI chatbot tool has no answers. I had to click through a bunch of choices finally to find the function that let me speak directly to a human support person. They really should put How To Contact Support as a prominent option. The support person was able to access them fine, so we narrowed it down to a DNS resolution error on the part of my ISP (Starlink) failing to resolve certain addresses. So I bought domain name, and there were pointing toward a different hosting provider. But no, Siteground, just auto wiped the dns record causing outage on 2 websites. Whenever I need help, I can quickly connect with a real support expert through live chat instead of spending time dealing with automated bots. The support team is knowledgeable, responsive, and genuinely helpful. Another feature that stands out is the website performance. My site loads quickly, and SiteGround's optimization tools help maintain those fast speeds. Getting started was also surprisingly easy. The setup wizard guided me through the entire process step by step, and I was able to install WordPress with just a single click. I also appreciate the clean and modern dashboard, which makes tasks like creating email accounts or enabling SSL certificates simple and hassle-free. On top of that, SiteGround provides built-in WordPress optimization plugins that are specifically designed to improve performance, making website management much easier overall. While the introductory rates are very attractive, the cost increases significantly once the initial term ends. For example, the entry-level plan can jump to around $17.99 per month or even higher upon renewal. This can come as an unpleasant surprise for budget-conscious users who signed up expecting to pay a similar rate long term.
