"Design software specially tailored for road and infrastructure design."
4.5/5
What do you like best about Site3D?

This is software that is specifically tailored for road and plot design, as well as the infrastructure for and around it. It is intuitive, easy to get up and running quickly, and can design a highway layout very quickly. The tangentials of the alignments - horizontal and vertical - are self checking and once one element is changed, it automatically updates the connecting elements. What do you dislike about Site3D?

Some tools can be improved, such as interfacing between the road and existing ground, and there are more features that can be added. I've been told these are being worked on so I expect more and more and better tools as this software is developed. The crashing problem has vastly improved and hasn't occurred to me for some time now. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Not big in United States- local compatibility l"
1.5/5
What do you like best about Site3D?

The simplistic interface is nice but not user efficient. The interface is not intuitive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Site3D?

No one has this software in the US. Everyone is using Civil 3D so compatibility is an issue. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Civil design software that holds up against more established competitors"
4/5
What do you like best about Site3D?

Site3D is easy to get to grips with, versatile and very forgiving if revisions are required to the model. The ability to view changes in output data, such as longitudinal sections and manhole schedules without having to manually regenerate them means that any problems or changes required can be resolved or performed quickly and efficiently. This is something that puts some competitor software to shame. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Site3D?

Whenever it crashed! Thankfully wasn't too often and the file recovery mechanism always allowed me to carry on where I left off. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"My Experience of Site3D"
5/5
What do you like best about Site3D?

For me the best feature of Site3D is its ability to work so well with other software programmes vital to my design work such as AutoCAD and Microdrainage.

A microdrainage model can be created exactly as designed with a click of a mouse.

One or all elements of a model can be pushed to AutoCAD and converted in DWG format to effortlessly build engineering drawing packages, including fully customisable longsections. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Site3D?

Site3D does on occassion crash and get stuck in an infinite loop, however fortunately it has a handy autosave function which makes regular backups of your work so all is not lost. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Excellent civils design program"
5/5
What do you like best about Site3D?

How quick it is to design a site from roads to drainage to earthworks and how its export functions to other programs saves huge amounts of time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Site3D?

I wish that the constructions lines tools were in their own separate tab. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
