**What do you like best about Singular?**

Having worked with other MMP's in the past, Singular platform has a better user-intuitive website. Be it generating reports for the marketing campaigns or connecting data platforms to export the attribution data. 
Nevertheless, the customer support representatives help you resolve the problem ideally in a day or even sooner whenever you need something, which is something very much needed in the agile operating model

**What do you dislike about Singular?**

There is nothing that i can think of, Singular has been the best attribution platform I have ever used.

**Recommendations to others considering Singular:**

If anyone wants to send the data to in-house data platforms like GCP, S3 without any hassle they can surely consider Singular.

**What problems is Singular solving and how is that benefiting you?**

To track the players end to end behavior, also understand what kind of campaigns helps in getting a Positive ROAS.

The Attribution platform has all the features we need to understand and analyze our digital campaign at every step.

Platform is a bit slow sometimes and some documentation was unclear.

We get a very detailed preview of the performance of the digital campaigns across platforms and what type of creatives are working and what is not. We are still in the initial stages of usage of the product but we believe that we will benefit from Singular in the long run.

One of the best thing is that advertisers can easily fetch the backend data to check the frauds and parameters that they have set for the campaign.

**What do you dislike about Singular?**

Singular is not helpful when you cannot see the backend data of singular of past years or months. 
Also, few fraud parameters can be added, where we can check the IP addresses citywise.

I love the creative reporting dashboard, especially the creative tags we can associate with our creatives.

I wouldn't say I like how the creative report is separate from the actual reporting tab. The other reporting makes it harder for us to tie creative performance back to our true KPI.

Singular's overall integration with our external partners has made it easy to connect to our data, which helps us see a full-conversion funnel that, in turn, enables us to understand the value of each campaign.

**What do you like best about Singular?**

About the tool: the creative report its a really flex, it can help us with a work that has been done manually for years, also the fast integration with the channels using the ETLs help us to improve the time between the integration and start testing. 

About the team: they always try to help when we need, always very supportive and collaborative. They really care about the client and try to create different ways to solve problems and improve the product. I believe that there always room for improvement on the tool but I believe that they're are right on track to achieve success!

**What do you dislike about Singular?**

Since it's a new tool, I believe that there are some things on the platform that are missing, for example: 

1 - dashboards: they need to provide more information using the table data and different charts types. 

2 - ads revenue: it would be ideal for us to send this information separate from the IAP revenue for the partners due to optimizations limitations, since there's not an option to do that right now we are having some problems to test all the integrations that we need in order to migrate all the apps to the platform (but as said before, the CSM team is already working on it with the product team, so that's really great!). 

3 - real time data on the dashboard: it doesn't have real time data on the dashboard that makes a little bit more complex to test integration for new channels.

**Recommendations to others considering Singular:**

Its a great platform for concentrate  all the information between platforms, they offer a great client support and they are up to date with some updates that are coming from the market (for example: iOS 14).

**What problems is Singular solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Data integration between platforms, faster connection with channels using ETLS, faster report of Ads and IAP Revenue to the channels.

**What do you like best about Singular?**

I like how intuitive and easy to use the Singular platform is, as well as, the great support you get from the Singular team. The support we get seems better than support from any other MMP I've experienced before. They try to understand what problems the company faces and provide a custom solution.

During the start of the global pandemic our company, as most, were in a trying times and needed assistance from our partners & Singular stepped up and worked with us to ensure we could continue our services with no friction.

**What do you dislike about Singular?**

To date, I haven't had any dislikes of the platform or the service. Nor do I really expect this to be something that arises.

**What problems is Singular solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Tracking and attribution problems for our mobile apps. We also are soon going to be bridging the gap between web and mobile tracking (cross device).

The ETL is very straight-forwards to setup; data collectors are well documented and data destinations are two-clicks to start using.

Singular is fairly configurable and simple to roll-out to our teams.

Not easy to debug SDK events without requiring support; this could be made easier to make onboarding easier.

Plots could use some more color to allow for easier visualization.

Quite a few:

1. We had an old ETL system, that no longer fitted our needs and was also expensive to maintain; we are now moving to Singular for network extraction. It connects to our BigQuery instances, which makes migration easier

2. We are centralizing cost attribution in a single place. Previously we worked with Appsflyer, had our own ETL and had to maintain and deploy our own models for cost attribution and ROAS/ROI calculations.

Singular brings all our data into one place. From there we an then take a 500ft overview to double check everything is going as it should. But when an anomoly is spotted, we can use Singular's advanced filtering to dig deep and troubleshoot individual campaigns or even creatives.

There's not much to dislike. If we have come across usability improvements, we can mentioned it to the Singular team and they add it to their roadmaps.

UI/UX, Reporting Freedom, I think there is a great scope in improvements in how reports/dashboards are shown. Visualization needs to be there -- at the same time sharing the report with teams is vague. It expires suddenly, there is no way to extend the validity, revoke access, change passwords of such shared reports.

It's a great tool for small to medium businesses. Provides just enough features at a great cost with some great support and visionary management.

Singular´s simplicity on cost reports and features. 
Super complete antifraud tool and we´ve just received a training by their team explaining how it works, seems extremely advanced compared with other MMPs and allows you to make customized reports on the moment.
Also their support team has improved a lot in the last months, specially in Americas, which is an extremely big market and constantly growing. And they give you full support with any questions you may have about the platform or the technology besides it.

**What do you dislike about Singular?**

Their dashboard. It would be really good to add a good dashboard with some KPIs for each advertiser and partner to quickly check their performance on the platform.

I recommend, once you have completed the setup, to have a complete training with Singular´s support team, to fully understand what you can do with the platform and reports, in order to take the most advantage out of it.

The idea that we don't need to hit multiple APIs in order to get cost and other related data from multiple different partners. Most major partners are integrated with Singular as well. Only requires one login per channel or network you are trying to receive data from.

Because cost and revenue data reside in the same place within Singular, it is easy to get reports and analyse our marketing campaigns to optimise our efforts across multiple channels in one place. Singular also provides measurements and KPIs by cohorts which is very useful in our day-to-day analyse, and is made easily accessible which is something that other platforms struggle with in their UI.

**What do you dislike about Singular?**

It can be frustrating as that data may or may not be delayed due to the 3rd parties not sending it consistently to Singular. This causes some detective work when cost data seems off as it may be due to our connections with Singular, or Singular's connection with the 3rd parties.

**Recommendations to others considering Singular:**

Singular has helped our team with a lot of maintenance overlooking multiple APIs for simple data such as costs, and provided a place we can get robust (and cohorted) reporting and analyses to optimise our marketing efforts.

Singular has allowed us to more easily ingest cost data across multiple different advertising partners. It has also allowed for faster ad easier analysis of optimisations within certain networks and partners as ROAS information is more readily available without any additional merging of revenue and cost data outside of the platform.

It's great to have all the data centralized on one platform. Otherwise, we would have to create scripts to pull the data from each network's API. So, in our use case, it definitely can speed up our workload. It has a good support, every time we have an issue it was a quick answer.

**What do you dislike about Singular?**

The UI is not that flexible, it takes a lot of time on response. If I were you, I would probably try to work harder on it. I've tried also Appsflyer and have similar issues so it could a good point to stand out vs your competitors.


On the other hand, we have also had some issues related to the data load. Once, we lost the expenses from Adwords for the last 7 days and since it's a major network for us it broke all our ROI related reports.

**What problems is Singular solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As far as I know, since I work on Data and not directly in business, we currently use Singular only for reporting purposes related to the costs of our campaigns at different levels. At first, we tried to use it as a replacement to AppsFlyer but we experienced some discrepancies with it and decided to keep it on AppsFlyer's side.

Regarding the benefits, as I mentioned above, on my side at least it's related to have only one source of information. We could have probably leveraged more from it If we had used it as an attribution platform as well.

The easiness to create pivot tables with raw data and to get granular results on different levels (source, campaign, ad set/ads/sub-publishers and etc.). We also have a direct Slack channel with them to ask questions and to direct feedback, so it is quite helpful to solve bugs.

**What do you dislike about Singular?**

To share feedback with discrepancies between the MMP and the networks can take some time, we have to make the case ourselves to point to the issue, would be great to have an MMP that could already help with that as they receive the data directly from the source (they could say: FB is claiming X% amount of installs on their side compared to our own attribution).

**Recommendations to others considering Singular:**

I think it is a quite intuitive tool but you may need to add secondary metrics and calculated fields of your own, they are great in implementing what you need but you need to know exactly what you are looking for.

They are our MMP and data aggregator (meaning, we can have our KPIs per campaign, ad set, and ad level directly on their dashboard). In terms of cost/benefit, for us to have the same tool for both was very helpful as we were limited in terms of data extracts with other MMPS/

I like that Singular customer service is very responsive and helpful when I have an inquiry. For example, when we had a data issue, I reached out to my Singular point of contact, Josh. He was quick to respond and forwarded me to the engineers, as the issue had to be handled by them. The engineers were also responsive and timely. We ended up fixing the issue using their input.

There are occasional data issues, which delay when we are able receive data.

**What problems is Singular solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Singular allows us to determine which users came from which ads. Singular also allows us to determine how much money we spent on each ad, how many impressions each ad served, etc.

The main benefit out of these two capabilities is that we are able to figure out how well each ad is performing, how well each marketing channel is performing, etc. We then do more of what is working and less of what is not working. This tremendously assists our bottom line.

Singular has a solid interface that allows you to clearly see attribution information for your marketing programs. We use Singular to segment device sources and push to our internal acquisition attribution methodology, which has been helpful in determining media spend allocations and performance.

It's pretty challenging to get new partners set up with the right attribution windows. We also noticed that there are a lot of hiccups with getting system users set up, on Facebook specifically.

Take a look at your options and make sure you need Singular for your specific needs. I think they're a great tool, but there may be a specific analytics stack that is needed for your company which may be a combination of MMP, Singular, and internal tooling.

We're solving multi-touch attribution questions internally. We're realizing that there may be a need for internal attribution analysis thanks to some of the data that Singular provides us.

-Data consolidation for creatives is quite useful as I can send the report easily to the creative team.
- Quick pivot selection of key KPIs tables when I need to deep dive into a specific segment.
-Easy data aggregation by cohort (with all the D1/D7/D14 etc. up to lifetime) as on other attribution partners I had to manually add some segments.
-Consolidation of results across different apps.
-Comparison table by dates 


**What do you dislike about Singular?**

-That we have to export the data if we want to make graphs and see trends (so we still need some sort of Excel use, would be ideal to have everything on the platform)
-Ability to easily change the order the metrics are presented (ex. for some cases I would rather see revenue first and then cost).
-Not a lot of filtering options. On the creative reporting, I cannot filter by specific FB campaigns and ad sets, so more granular levels would be great to have. 

**Recommendations to others considering Singular:**

It is great for a UA team to have everything consolidated into 1 spot and to rapidly look at key KPIs. Also very easy to reach to the support team (we have a dedicated AM on Slack where we can direct questions).

Singular is a great source for the source of truth in cost. The cost in Singular is almost alike to the one in networks. The discrepancy is minor, so we can rely on Singular.

**What do you dislike about Singular?**

The daily API data are sent after our ETL kicks in not before. So we cannot recognize yesterday's cost in our system. We can still see, but not in the most downstream.
Also the cost is not that granular. It is as granular as a campaign, but not much more. It would be great to have cost as granular as a keyword level in the long-run. It does not have to be in the near future.
The data are not preserved long. So far this is not a big issue, but if we want to reconcile data for a long-term in the past, then we need to reach out to Singular in E-mail rather than through Singular UI.

Same as what I wrote before. Singular is a great source for the source of truth in cost. The cost in Singular is almost alike to the one in networks. The discrepancy is minor, so we can rely on Singular.

We are trying to bring cost of our new vertical. Currently, it dose not have an ID because of the failure of our 3rd party engineering company. We will see that cost soon.

Able to make custom reports and dig deep into country wide data.This is very useful for looking at campaigns from a holisitic and top-line view when trying to gauge performance as a whole for one geo. Having all data in one place make for a good experience

System can often take a long time for reports to load. Once reports are loaded they are very useful for seeing a full breakdown of the data and very easy to gain insights from the data produced. However if you need to make a very small teak it can take a while for the report to reload.
