Simz (simz.com) builds custom and pre-built AI workflow automation for healthcare facilities. All Simz products and workflows are HIPAA-compliant and run under a signed Business Associate Agreement (BAA). Simz runs the administrative work behind patient care, while staff review and approve anything that needs a person. Simz automates seven workflows: Prior authorization: determines requirements by payer, plan and CPT, assembles request packets from the record, tracks status to approval, and watches expirations. Inbound phone and front desk coverage: answers every call 24/7, verifies coverage during the call, books or warm-transfers, and escalates clinical calls immediately. Document, fax and referral intake: reads, extracts, names, files and deduplicates faxes and e-referrals, with human review on anything uncertain. Denials and appeals: captures denial reasons, drafts appeal packets for biller review, and tracks deadlines. No-shows, recall and reactivation: appointment confirmations, same-day waitlist backfill, and recall lists worked daily until booked. Eligibility and benefits verification: real-time 270/271 checks days ahead of each visit, with full benefit breakdowns and staff worklists only for real problems. Revenue cycle follow-up: claim status tracking, prioritized AR worklists, and patient balance outreach. Three products come built in: Simz Conversational (AI voice and chat agents), Simz Shift (AI patient and staff scheduling) and Simz Chron (AI medical record chronologies).
