**What do you like best about SimScale?**

Simscale provides an amazing CFD and FEA tool, with a large knowledge material and it has a great support team, always resposive and caring, with a large experience.

**What do you dislike about SimScale?**

I believe they could improve some animations in post-process results and some UX tools to enhance the user performance.

**What problems is SimScale solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Simscale provided a robust cloud-based simulation solution, which allowed us to save significantly on hardware. In addition, the support team provided us with rapid leverage of knowledge and implementation of the tool.

**What do you like best about SimScale?**

Most helful and upsides criteria in Simscale will be less computational time to solve complex problems. More advanced and unique tools in tools in analysis settings and boundary conditions

**What do you dislike about SimScale?**

Least helpful in simscale will be in meshing domain. very less parameters for accurate meshing in terms of different types of meshing such as polyhedral, hexagoal and hexahedral

**What problems is SimScale solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The problems we are solving in static analysis and dynamic analysis. The benefits are in approaching the problem with unique manner in solving approach

The cloud simulation is outstanding and revolutionary, I have people in my team with low end technology, switching to SimScale allowed us to involve everyone in the projects.

**What do you dislike about SimScale?**

It can be too basic at times, I understand it's not a cad software but a bit more features there would be helpful.

**What problems is SimScale solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Clouding computing has solved so many problems, I can use it overnight with my main machine is off, and I don't need a beefy computer to run simulations.

Simulation setup for incompressible fluid flow is faulty

I use simscale for cfd simulations specifically incompressible fluid flow. The setup for this is a bit tricky anf frankly not helpful.

The website is very interactive and the service is easy to use for a wide variety of engineering applications from multiphase flow simulation to finite element analysis for structural validation.

If I had a question about a particular thing on my simulation, the live chat would take several days to respond.

Simscale is helping solve the problem of time-dependent simulations for reliable and accurate post processing results. They cut the amount of time it takes for simulations to run and produce results that are satisfactory and accurate.

**What do you like best about SimScale?**

Simscale has a very friendly, easy to navigate interface and incredibly well organized documentation which enables designers in our studio to perform PWC studies. Customer support is top quality, with very knowledgable team responding quickly to any queries. Cloud-based system has helped to speed up our simulations - we can now run multiple variations simultanously and compare options much faster, which is great condsidering ever-changing nature of early stage design concepts.

It'd be great to have more options for display modes.

Environmental analysis and comfrot criteria for design options.

**What do you like best about SimScale?**

The best thing about Simscale is that, first, the interface is very user-friendly and easy to navigate for inexperienced CFD users, while also allowing enough control for more detailed analysis. The other very good thing about Simscale is the support that is always available to give helpful insights on problems you may face in a project. Collaborating with them has been a very positive experience.

**What do you dislike about SimScale?**

An area that I see Simscale working on that I think will be a great addition is the ability to manipulate the data after the run and extract insights.

Visually pleasing and easy-to-understand results.

Have the ability to simulate many different iterations is a real time save and has been one of the best value adds to the business.

Tricky to setup a simulation with lots of botled connects and contacts.

Using SimScale to run load cases from Australian Design Rules to show whether or not a design complies with all safety requirments.

Good variety of simulations. Easy of Use. Easy Boundary Conditions Setup. Speed of simulation. Custumer support.

**What do you dislike about SimScale?**

Geometry handler not the most easy to use or not really versatile. Download of the results not always available for some simulations as well as some boundary conditions (e.g. periodic) not always available . Post Processing is quite slow and does not allow the extraction of more useful info from the results (area averaged values, mass averaged values, radial or axial profiles of certain quantities).

Conjugate Heat Transfer simulation for component design, or results comparison.

Upsides are an affordable pricing with reliable results for the sporadic or occasional user.

**What do you dislike about SimScale?**

I think continued improvement in the graphics interface would be good.  Some of the mas selection filters are very good once learned.  The post processing could be improved.

Lower the time to production in development by limiting the number of prototypes needed for testing

Parasolid connection from Onshape(Parasolid kernel) to Simscale(Parasolid kernel) with version controll, works perfect.

**What do you dislike about SimScale?**

Still some features a laking like comparing two transient non-linear FEM results over all steps. Reports are not there yet (but coming as I was in contact with the UX team), but not that critical - because the browser viewer with post processing capabilities is perfect for most cases.

Simscale is easily accessible for any level of engineering knowledge. The fact that it is an online software allows you to launch it from aby device and run complex analysis in minutes

Sometimes Sismacle guides may be confusing or misleading.

**What do you like best about SimScale?**

The customer support is what makes this application better than everyone else. I also enjoy that the simulations are cloud based; so it doesn't take a toll on my machine. Very easy software to learn if you're familiar with the diffrent types of engineering analysis'. Multiple departments in our compnay have implemented the software with no issues. In about a week I went from learning to using everyday & fully intergrated it into my department.

**What do you dislike about SimScale?**

The only realy downfall about SimScale at the moment is the lack of direct importing from Solidworks.

Workbench tools are advanced and easier to use for FEA Engineers.

**What do you dislike about SimScale?**

One contrast is, there is no option for advanced meshing interface and not so many tools for mesh control

Currently we are solving linear and non-linear component analysis approach. So we can easier to generate analysis in less time with high level accuracy

What i like the best is the user friendly interface, the documentation and the costumer support

**What do you dislike about SimScale?**

There is no "team package", so you have to pay per person in the company a very expensive plan. This restrict the sharing of knowledge within the company and give the opportunity to more colleague to be involved with CFD simulations.

Mostly pedestrian wind comfort analysis, but also other building aerodynamics simulations

The integration with OnShape is really helpful. The ease with which you can setup Simulations is quite easy.

**What do you dislike about SimScale?**

There is relatively less documentation about the algorithms in use. But it is possible to run validation cases and confirm the results.

**What problems is SimScale solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use SimScale primarily for fluid flow and thermofluidic simulations. The software is easy to use and has in built post processing tools. The cloud based simulations do make it faster and easy to simulate. The pricing for the tool is also very competitive.

**What do you like best about SimScale?**

SimScale allowed use to model a very large building and understand the entire airflow throughoutthe building, including simulating the storaging racking systems. While we did use over 22,000 core hours, we were able to gain vaulable knowledge about howthe building would perform in natural and mechaincal ventilation modes.

**What do you dislike about SimScale?**

Being in the southern hemisphere, and having support based  in the northern hemisphere means there is quiute a lag when we have issues in our simulaitons that we cannot understand. Direct support in the southern hemisphere would be helpful.

**What problems is SimScale solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SimScale is used to build airflow simulations to understand air diffusion patterns for the application of HVAC&R in the construction industry.

**What do you like best about SimScale?**

I like the project setup, whith the ability to have multiple geometries and simulations. The speed of meshing and simulation runs utilizing cloud computing is a huge plus. Also the documentation, support and large user base is great.

**What do you dislike about SimScale?**

Maybe some of the CAD functionality could be improved. Would like to be able to roll back the feature tree or suppress  features.

Understanding the affect the geometry shape has on our fan products.

**What do you like best about SimScale?**

The best online simulator, with a very high degree of confidence.
Easy and intuitive to use, and plenty of simulations possible to use.
By importing directly from Inventor, it is possible to easily integrate and implement the geometry under study.
I often use it for personal use and the simulation corresponds to reality.
In terms of assistance and support, the team is very efficient and fast.

The only disadvantage is not being able to simulate offline.

Uncomplicated tools to get you started on your analysis. Feature rich to dig deeper into your analysis and extract meaningful data.

The amount of automation creates ease of use but also removes some of the variable controls necessary for certain parameter configurations.

**What do you like best about SimScale?**

The interface and setup process is so much better than Ansys Fluent.  I and set up and run multiple CGD simulations in less time than just setup would take in other packages.  I love the post processing and the way I can add particle tracks to a steady state simulation.  The customer support is so fast and easy as well.

**What do you dislike about SimScale?**

I don't like the mouse mapping in the 3d envirment and wish there was support for 3dconnexion space mouse.

SimScale give me the ability to quickly visualize changes I make to products that are currently in development.

It is the only tool we've found that considers topology for running wind simulations and offers multiple types of analysis to evaluate wind conditions. Not to mention their amazing technical support team that is both available and knowledgeable to assist you throughout the process.

It's an advanced tool that requires a little preparation and testing beforehand until you become fluent in using it.
