What I appreciate most about Simpplr is how it consolidates our company communications and resources into one clean, searchable hub. The intranet setup makes it easy for employees to find what they need without digging through email threads or shared drives. It has cut down the time our team spends answering 'where do I find X' questions, and the interface feels modern enough that adoption across the company was smooth. The relevance of the results, and the way they’re presented, hasn’t consistently met my expectations, which creates extra friction when I’m trying to quickly track down a specific document or policy. On top of that, the sheer number of permission levels, while helpful for maintaining control, can make it unclear what each role actually allows. Before Simpplr, information was scattered across email, Slack, and shared drives, so important announcements and resources were easy to miss and hard to find later. Different teams were also operating somewhat in silos, duplicating work because there wasn't a shared, searchable source of truth. With Simpplr, we now have a single hub where content lives, is organized, and is easy to search. The AI-enabled search has also improved visibility across teams, since people can see what other departments are working on instead of finding out secondhand. I appreciate Simpplr for its simplicity and how it is easy to use, which makes it incredibly user-friendly for an intranet. It effectively serves the purpose of communicating internal news and announcements within the company. As an admin, I find it easy to craft, edit, and post pages and events, which adds to its versatility and efficiency. I've been using Simpplr in my company for over a year now, and I have to say, it's had such a huge effect on how we stay connected, especially with so many of us working remotely or in hybrid environments. The interface is minimal, intuitive, and requires little training. I'm able to access updates from leadership, see critical documents, and understand what's happening with various teams without having to dig through emails or shared drives. I like the customized homepage. It shows me news and updates that are unique to my work and location, so I'm not bombarded with stuff that doesn't apply to me. What do you dislike about Simpplr? It would be that the content permissions are somewhat confusing initially, especially if you're an admin. But overall, after you're all set up, it runs smoothly. Simpplr is an incredibly user-friendly platform that requires minimal prior experience to start utilizing effectively. Upon first login, end users are seamlessly guided through the setup process within the app. I've found that I can easily train most site owners and managers in less than an hour, thanks to its intuitive interface. The migration team, comprised of Kevin, Mark, and Chris, deserves special mention for their exceptional assistance during our transition from our previous platform. They were not only incredibly helpful and patient but also provided invaluable guidance on best practices, ensuring a smooth transfer of the bulk of our content. Key Features: Seamlessly integrates with various elements of our tech stack, including Outlook, Confluence, and ServiceNow. Federated search functionality simplifies content discovery, while analytics provide valuable insights into effectiveness. The automated requirement for individuals to validate knowledge content regularly ensures that our content remains current and accurate. Promoting content is effortless, and the platform offers simple drag-and-drop functionality for content creation, organization, and movement. Over time, the platform tailors content to individual viewers, enhancing their experience. Overall, Simpplr has proven to be an indispensable tool for our organization, streamlining processes and enhancing collaboration across teams. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Simpplr? One area that has posed challenges for us is the integration with ADP not correctly syncing crucial information for audience segmentation, such as job title, geography, and leadership roles. The fix for this issue isn't simple, took a lot of meetings, and in the end involves working directly with ADP to develop a custom report. Another area that is less than ideal is that Simpplr is built on Salesforce, which brings with it the requirement to purchase new user licenses in advance - and they have to be purchased in bundles of 50. I think this format is restrictive and requires more work on our end compared to a tiered system that allows for more flexibility and scalability. Also, while the platform does allow for planning posts in advance, you can't schedule promotion ahead of time. And the mobile app, although functional, could benefit from improvements in usability, as it currently feels a little clunky and managers are unable to make edits directly from the app. Despite these limitations, for my company the pros definitely outweigh the cons.
