Most powerful function of this sofware is support structure generation algorithm and manual support editing. G-code generation is very fast and toolpaths preview are very precise. I would prefer to have the ability to print two completely different parts using two different printing processes. If it has this ability, it is confusing to use (I thought I read somewhere that this function was available). If you use an SD card to transfer data to the printer, the file name is cut off when you go to select which one to print. It renders models crazy fast. The clean and intuitive UI ensures that the files are processed accurately and relatively fast. The printer sounds and you can just feel a whole level of difference when using simplify. The loading time and the new features that are added constantly help a lot. At my school, we use Simplify3D to slice from stl files to gcodes. Simplify3D has been great for this purpose and I've used it with several different 3D printers with different settings.
