My mom used it for a grocery list and also for party planning supplies. I use it for everything including daily tasks and just to prioritize certain things in my daily routine. Prioritizing daily tasks, it also is easy for me to keep track of what I already have done for the day and I love how It helps me not forget simple things like a phone number or log things like miles and appointments for work. It simply doesn't give you nearly enough WYWSIG options. Can't bulletise or numerical order. Can't highlight anything, can't embolden. It really isn't much better than a basic desktop post-it note. Recommendations to others considering Simplenote: It's a note-taking app, but you really don't get much else from it. I really don't see the point of going to the Windows store and downloading it. Some free apps give you a nice unique selling point - it'll be a cold day in Tahiti before I can figure out what on Earth this one's is. Ooh, I can switch it from white to black background - sign me up as my eyes roll. WYWSIG needs to be implemented to even get people thinking this tool could be a useful compendium in their everyday lives. Can't upload pictures, only Ctrl + C on screenshots - add this, and it might help the tool stand out. It clearly needs a jolt though. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. The best thing that I love about SImplenote is their design and features which they are only providing significant and most important tools instead of meaningless tools. It's super light-weight. It does what you need it to do without drowning you in features you probably won't use. It's free too! The sync with the mobile app is almost instantaneous. That sounds like a silly thing to like, but you appreciate it when you add to your notes on a desktop then use your phone minutes later to reference them while in a meeting.
